When comparison shopping for cars Don Wallence seemed to be the place to go. The reviews were good and the cars were low mileage. When the hours they were open during the week didnt work for us we said we would come in on a Saturday and fill out the paperwork and be on our way. Josh had everything ready to go and we were in and out quickly. Unfortunately, thats when the trouble began. We drove our car home and did not take it out again until that evening. When we got about 30 miles after leaving the dealership, the check engine light came on. I called Don Wallence and was able to bring the car back in to be looked at. The catalytic converter had gone bad. After leaving after that repair the check engine light came on again. This time they said that a sensor had to be reset. So back into the shop it went. After leaving again the light came on again. This time they said the sensor had to be replaced. During all of this a tire went flat. When I went to have roadside assistance replace the tire with the spare he said he couldnt because the spare was completely bald. He also said that the tires on the car had dry rot. When I called Don Wallence to ask about the dry rot on the tires Josh told me that they werent going to do anything for us because it came out of their pockets to fix the catalytic converter and sensor that had gone bad. It was apparently just luck that those expensive items had gone bad within a day of getting the car. After telling Josh that he sold me a car with bad parts (and hearing someone yelling in the background about how much the catalytic converter cost them) I told him that I would never do business with them again and would do everything in my power to make sure no one I knew could be ripped off by them again. I received a call back from Josh shortly after that offering to "replace the tires at cost" from "another car he can check on the lot". So basically, you want to check another car you have to see if you have tires to replace mine, so that you can sell a car with my dry rot tires on them? That isnt right. And what exactly is "at cost" if you already have them? No. Absolutely not. I refuse to give them another cent. The check engine light came on again and we said forget about Don Wallence and decided to go with a reputable mechanic instead. When posting this experience on a local Facebook site I was not surprised to hear the overwhelming negative response that others had had with them. Please, save yourself the headache and go with someone more reputable, or take your test drive immediately to a mechanic because these guys like to take advantage of those of us who do not know anything about cars. In summary, 4 check engine lights and 5 bad tires in less then a month after putting $5000 down on a car with only 60,000 miles on it. It doesnt add up. Unfortunately I think we are in it for the long haul with repairs on this car. Fortunately, Don Wallence will not be handling any of them.

I highly recommend Don Wallence Auto Sales. I was in the market for a new vehicle because my Honda Civic was approaching 250k miles, and it needed maintenance that exceeded the value of the car. I was referred to this dealership by a friend, and that very same day I called and scheduled a test drive for a 10 year old, 2006 Honda Civic with only 68k miles (extremely low). The asking price was almost $1000 below market value, and it was clean inside and out, and it drove very smoothly. In addition to the low mileage and asking price, Don Wallence has a long standing relationship with APEX Credit Union, so my credit information was only be sent to that one lender. They came back to me with an offer of no money down and an amazing 4% interest rate, which kept my payments at a super low $180/month. Two thumbs up for these guys!

Im not sure why they would have even received any other review but 5 stars...clearly if people have educated themselves in the used car business they would understand that this is a reputable dealership that knows their business. You get what you pay for and I purchased several cars from them, which have all been excellent cars. They are fair business owners and made me comfortable in my purchases. Both the father and son were very accommodating in making sure I was getting what I wanted out of a vehicle. Great job on this well established family owned business...Its obviously evident why this long standing business has been successful for almost 40 years...they care!

Never buy from them they sell mostly cars that have been in accidents and they lie about it and wont fix anything on the car you buy from them. I bought a red 1999 gt grand am it was in a accident two weeks before i got it and nothing but problems and the turn signals stopped working a week after i had it they said nothing was wrong with it and guess what they still didnt work when i picked it up. And NEVER told me it had been in a accident. Do your research before you buy from here.

Found a great 2005 Kia Sportage here a week ago, and even though we used our own financing at Navy Federal, the whole process was seamlessly easy, quick and comfortable. Josh was professional and really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this dealer, and if you are in the market for a good clean used car, please check them out, you wont be disappointed!

I have recently purchased a car from Josh. I have been to several dealerships before I found out about Don Wallence auto sales. Im glad I came across them. They had the best pricing on cars for what I was looking for and Josh was the best salesman I worked with. He got me exactly what I was looking for and he was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Looking for a car can be difficult, even more so when bad credit looms over your head. I was referred to DWAS Inc by a friend. He claimed they were excellent, friendly, honest, and not pushy. After spending over an hour there at their dealership, I agree. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, on-site repair shop and title services. Give these guys a shot.

I have to say, this dealership was awesome! I got a great deal, and trust me I compared!!! They did not hassle me, like some of the other dealerships I went to. I didnt trust some of the other dealerships I went to but Todd was awesome!! For a local dealer, they had a large selection. I couldnt decide between two cars!!
