Purchased a Pickup truck for $5600 from William Healey, the owner of Electric City auto sales with a 50-50 90-day warranty. On the 5 mile drive home, all of the gauges lit up. I called him immediately and asked him if he could take the truck back. He told me not to drive it, but he couldnt take it back. He said he will have his mechanic look at it the next day. I called every day for the next week, but he kept claiming he couldnt fit it in. At this point, I brought it to a mechanic who gave me an estimate of $2200+. Since I had a 50-50 warranty I called him expecting to be able to help with some of the costs. He said his mechanic would have to look at it. But conveniently for him, he couldnt fit me in. This continued for over a month. I suspect he was trying to run out the warranty. I hired a lawyer and filed a complaint with the magistrate. Healey didnt show up and the magistrate ruled in my favor. I received a judgment for the full cost of the truck and my legal fees. The judge also mentioned that he was familiar with Healey. Apparently this is Healeys standard operating procedure. Healey appealed on the last day he was allowed, drawing this out further. My attorney suggested I sue him, and I did. His response to the lawsuit was a complete fabrication. He claimed there was no warranty. I have a typed warranty signed by him as well as documentation of all of my contacts with him. At this point, my lawyer called him hoping to settle. He agreed to take the car back for $2500, 3 months and 15 miles later. I agreed even though it would have been a huge loss. Then, he kept claiming he was too busy to take the car back. A couple of weeks later, he said he changed his mind, and wouldnt be taking the car back. I still have the car, it is still in the same condition it was in when purchased. Dont do business with this guy. You cannot believe anything he says, and he will lie to get his way.

Rip off is not the word!! I was in need of a vehicle because my car had been demolished right before Labor Day...so having transportation was a necessity. The car I bought was great when I test drove it...it needed some minor things like a new windshield (small crack) and a glove box..ran great. Then after we close the deal...and he hands me the keys to get in the car...that is when he proceeds to tell me that the keys I was holding was only for the ignition. They do not lock the doors or trunk. I needed to go to a dealer and have keys for the doors and trunk!! So...I am still waiting on the glove box he was supposed to send to me...and I still have to get the damn keys for the doors! I will NEVER do business there EVER again. I dont care if they had the last car on earth!!!!!

This man is a thief and a crook I would not trust him to pick up a pile of dog crap off of my sidewalk I traded in a vehicle valued at $7,000 plus gave this man $1,000 cash for a different vehicle and ended up having to dump 3,000 additional dollars into it within the first few days of having it it still needs about $3,000 more worth of work he told me it was perfectly safe and would pass inspection no problem and nothing was wrong with it I would not recommend anyone do any business with this man he is the scum of the Earth.
