I just purchased a pre-owned 2014 cx9. I was very happy with the car until I got it home and noticed some damage. when I got low to the ground at the front end I noticed the drivers side lower bumper (plastic) was push in. there were no scratches so it made me think it may of been from a snow bank (there was the bug snowstorm about 2 weeks prior) . I called "toz" my salesman to let him know. I got the feeling he thinks we damaged the bumper but he told us to bring it in and he will take a look. he told me to come in on a Wednesday, that he would be working 1 -9 pm that day. my wife took it in around 130 and toz was not in. the service dept was not very helpful. they called toz and he had them pop it out. Toz never showed the whole time she was there. The service guy even told her that he would talk with Toz and see what to do. we never got a call. my wife called me at work once she left and she was very upset and said she never felt so uncomfortable before in her life. between sales dept and service dept she felt like no one cared to help her. I also gave it 3 days expecting to get a follow up call from toz but nothing. I am so disappointed with this experience over all I never plan on buying another vehicle from this dealer again. this is my 4th car I have purchased from the Kennedy group. I can also think of about 8 more vehicles throughout my family that have been purchased from the Kennedy group and never had any issues.

Avoid buying a car at this dealership at all costs! Not only are they liars through and through, but when you call John Kennedy Mazda to get your questions and concerns addressed, theres a great likelihood that none of the salesman or management team will pick up the phone to assist you. I purchased a $23,399.00 vehicle at this dealership on July 14th, 2015, and they assured me that though there was a "slight" problem with the title, they gave me their word (for what thats worth) that I would receive the title in a timely fashion so I could go ahead and register the car before August 14th, 2015. It is now August 12th, 2015, and still no title. All of my phone calls to the dealership on August 12th, 2015 have been ignored, even though I am still without the title and in less than two days, if Im caught by local law enforcement driving the car with the expired temporary plate, I could very well end up get this car impounded. The sad part of this is that they should have never sold me the car sans title in the first place. I was duped! Yes, I encourage anyone reading this to always be wary of smooth talking, unscrupulous used-car salesman. But in the case of the sales team at John Kennedy Mazda, heed my warning! Dont believe what they tell you, since its obvious from this scenario Ive presented, that any prospective car buyer shopping at John Kennedy Mazda is best served to take whatever they say with a grain of salt!

We just turned in our lease and will probably never get another Mazda, at least from this dealer. In fairness the car was fine, never gave us any issues. The people, however, that work at this dealer are extremely rude, disrespectful and try to nickel and dime you for everything. While we were turning in the car, our sales rep, screamed for an intern, made it very clear he was. "Manager" and ordered him to do his dirty work. He also made us few very uncomfortable for not buying another Mazda from him. We had gotten several quotes from other dealers to try and just buy out of the lease, and they all said the car wasnt worth the buy out price, when we mentioned this to him, he said they were "clearly" wrong. The car has 55,000 miles. No one was going to give us 16,500 for the car, no matter how clean it was. I think our sales rep needs some customer sales training. Save yourself some trouble and go to another Mazda dealer.

Gene "Toz" was great as was Mike Armstrong. I looked at the CX5 on a Friday afternoon & needed to think about buying a car. I was set on needing an automatic lift gate & this car doesnt have it, but thought it was just the one I looked at. Went back Saturday all ready to seal the deal, but was then told, nope, none of them have the lift gate. Toz did not force me into any decisions & my husband & I left to grab a bite to eat & to think about it. Well, after thinking about it & talking to my sister & friend, I decided that it wasnt that big of a deal. I went back, they gave me a great deal both on my trade in & the new car. Mike was wonderfull to work with getting the financing done. My nephew recently purchased a CX9 there before me & he was pleased at the service he received as well. Thanks guys!!!!

I had visited a couple of (non-mazda) dealers before coming to John Kennedy Mazda, and it was a breath of fresh air. I had made an appointment to test drive a 2015 Mazda 3, and was greeted by Jared precisely at the scheduled time. He let me take a look at the car on my own, and honestly, didnt try to "sell" me the car at all. We talked some numbers, but I didnt feel like Jared was pushing me into a Sale. After I left the lot, they did not hound me with calls and emails. I returned 2 weeks later to buy my 2015 Mazda 3 from Jared, who was helpful and non-aggressive through the whole process. His manager was equally kind and helpful and honest in taking me though the financing of the vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership in general, and Jared in particular.

Do not buy a vehicle from them. They will lie to sell you things just to make a few bucks. I bought my vehicle and they sold me a "bumper to bumper" extended warranty. When i tried to use it I found out that it is not a bumper to bumper and most things are covered but conveniently the part i needed fixed was not. Also the paint protection packages and interior packages they sell are through some bs company that does not take care of you. after one claim they never answered me about reapplying the product. John Kennedy is the worst dealership i have ever dealt with in my life.

I just leased my third Mazda from John Kennedy Mazda in Pottstown. This time around, I specifically worked with Mike Armstrong & Chau Chu. I cannot say enough positive things about both of these individuals! I found them to both be willing to work with me, patient, respectful and hard working. Both Mike and Chau went above and beyond and I would not hesitate in recommending them and this dealership! They respected my time, listened to what I had to say & wanted & were respectful of my time & schedule! Both of these gentlemen are class acts! :-)

The service department is incredibly rude. The only reason we took the car there was fto fix a recall. When I called to see if the car was ready, the operator kept putting me into the voicemail of a huy who was on vacation. When I told her about it, she was rude. When I was finally able to reach the service department, the guy on the phone was short and impatient and told me that the car wasnt ready. Before I could ask another question he quickly said...well call you when its ready and hung up. What a way to do business!
