This place is like a Geeky Hallmark store, but its so much more than "Kards". I love it! Its one of my favorite shops in Shadyside & in general. If I was rich, Id want to buy at least 3/4 of this stores merchandise. Such a wide variety of things, but Ill give as much of a description as I can below. Theres lotsa comic book character items, Harry Potter, Cthulhu, Mr. Rogers, Game of Thrones, & more. Toys for kids & adults. Jewelry & trinkets. Items for the cartoons Rick and Morty and The Simpsons. Greeting cards, balloons, tree ornaments, & other things youd buy for parties & holidays. Theres plenty of items related to tv shows, movies, & books themes. T-shirts, mugs, pint glasses, shot glasses, candles, stuffed animals, trinket boxes, amusing tins of mints & candies, specialty soaps & other bath items, stationary, MANY new & classic books, and so much more. The employees are also wonderful. Theyre very helpful, kind, & knowledgeable about the merchandise. The cashier I had was also very apologetic for the way he had to ring me up, because its somewhat of a long process. This is the only problem I have with this shop, & I assume its the owners "choice". They dont have a scanner, therefore any cashier must write down the full name of each item as they enter prices into the cash register. I can only guess the reason, but I think its to keep track of stock on hand & whats been sold. Because my receipt was not handwritten & showed only each items price, but not item names.

If you want something unique or happen to wait until the last minute to get gifts and cards, this is the place to go. When I was going to a wedding I thought about how so many of the guests would probably get greeting cards at places like Target, and I did not want to give a repeat card, so I went to Kards Unlimited. While I was there I also found beautiful wrapping paper and ribbon. Is it the cheapest place? No. But the items I got were unique and beautiful; exactly what I wanted. Also, a lot of their gift items are funny! so you get to laugh while you shop!

One of the coolest stores that I have every shopped and worked at. As soon as you walk in, you know youve left the muggle world of Walnut street behind, and feel like youre in a shop on Diagon Alley. The employees have a depth of witchiness and a breadth of geekery unparalleled and can help you find something for everyone from the shops eclectic merchandise, from the elegant to the crass, from the esoteric to the ordinary. A gift is a thing of magic, and this truly is a magical place.

This is the kind of card shop you WONT find in a lot of cities. Were lucky to have a store that loves irreverent items! From an awesome mug collection to off-color cards to cool calendars and a book selection that is funky and special, this store should be part of every Pittsburghers must-visit list. I go there monthly and love the wide selection.

One of if not the best gift shop in the city. If you have a nerd, a fanboy/girl, or anyone into any type of geekdom this is your Mecca for getting them gifts. I promise you, will fine something for them here. I also bet you wont be able to leave without something for yourself.

My favorite store in Shadyside! It has gag toys, books, comics, cards, t-shirts, and any other item you might imagine in a hipster shop. I can spend quite a long time looking at all the cool little trinkets.

This is an awesome place for greeting cards that dont suck, and for small unique gifts. Definitely a niche business, but they do such a good job I love shopping here. I highly recommend a visit.
