I stumbled into this store when I was searching for some Japanese goods. Its hidden downstairs from the street, but its very nice. To describe it, its basically like a Sanrio or a place where Hello Kitty threw up in. Theres a lot of stuff in one small place and you really have to take your time in seeing everything. Its really pricey. Its easy to spend over $50 in that place when youre just picking up a couple things. Also, I noticed that the stuffed animals were all made in China, so I was not too impressed by that. But being from China, they are not priced as expensive. I usually go here for gifts or for interesting stationary. I think Pittsburgh lacks authentic Asian stores, so I am quite happy with this place.

If you are looking for that quirky gift or something to make you smile, Kawaii is the place to stop. Mostly imports from Asia the items range from decorations to collectibles. One gift group that consistently makes me smile is the "Giant Microbes" line of dolls. There is nothing like having a plush Black Death sitting next to your computer.

If you are looking for some unique gift ideas this is an awesome place to check out! They have loads of collectables, anime figurines, and stationary stuff. But really, they have even more than that. This is a really cool shop thats worth looking into.

This store has the strangest Japanese toys that youve ever seen. The products are very expensive but browsing is free, and you can come away with a note pad or something cheap, or splurge on the "kitty fries" which must be seen to be believed.

This store is so cute! My daughter and her friend bought pins there and put them all over their purses and backpacks. They even said they want to work there when they get older!
