I never write reviews or give places bad ratings. But this store is the worst bookstore that Ive ever used. The bookstore claims to have a price match option, which is a sham. They say that they will match your books price to other sellers like Amazon. I was thrilled when I saw that I could rent my books for $120 cheaper on Amazon. But when I talked to the staff member, he said that they wouldnt price match this book, despite the fact that the bookstore had done the same for my friend two days earlier. When I complained, he was rude and dismissive, and refused to give me the price match service. For some reason, I bought other books from the store. I explicitly asked for my books to be used rentals. When I received my books (5 days late), I checked my receipt and I found that the price for my rental books had doubled! With no warning (not even on the receipt), the bookstore had given and charged me for a NEW book! Even if they only had new books, they could have at least told me AT CHECKOUT, or ON THE RECEIPT. So this bookstore had tried to overcharge me twice. Never again. Dont rent or buy books from here.

These people have no clue about customer service. I tried to buy a discounted item, but the clerk did not know how to do the transacation. He said he could hold the item and asked me to come back later in the afternoon. When I returned to the store, the item had disappeared, and there were no others left in the store--I know this because I searched the shelves myself (the staff were unwilling to do this). When I asked if they could get the item from another store, since they had lost the one I reserved, they told me I had to ask at the information desk. The clerk was too lazy to even call the information desk himself. That was my last visit to the Penn Bookstore.

The prices here are just outrageous and because of their connection to Penn, they have no reason to change their monopoly. Almost every book youll see in this store can be found online for cheaper, but it is unfortunate that that cannot be said for all of the Penn Apparel. Having your wallet cry every time you enter is one thing, but knowing youre being ripped off just makes you leave feeling depressed. One Positive Note: The cafe upstairs is quite nice and the new study space is a great place to get work done (quietly)

I use to love this bookstore, but during my last shopping trip I was made to feel uncomfortable. The stores security guard treated me like theif when the theft detector went off when myself and other customers walked through. I didnt like how I was singled out and searched. To make matters worst the security guard didnt even apologize after realizing it wasnt me who set the detector off. This place most certainly lost my business.

This is a large, cheerful book-store which sells a ton of UPenn-related merchandise in addition, plus has a very nice coffee-shop upstairs. Its book collection is huge, and their layout is neat and organized, as is typical in book-stores like these. In keeping with its fellow university book-stores, its prices are also pretty steep, so be prepared.

Id never say this was my favorite B&N, and many times, I dont appreciate that it is advertised as UPenns bookstore but is slightly unfriendly toward students. The prices are rather steep for both books and Penn apparel, and efforts can be made to make it more appealing to people, especially students and Penn faculty.

This store is conveniently located, if you work or study at UPenn. But you can buy books cheaper online. The customer service is lovely, the store itself is clean and has a lot of variety, including items for Penn pride. The cafe upstairs is nice, too, and has decent amount of seats.

Bello e ricco di molti articoli da regalo. I libri sono sia adatti alla lettura che allo studio. Gli spazi sono ben distribuiti.

I consider it the Costco of bookstores, because its huge. They sell way more than books. Its a good place to kill some time, grab some coffee, and browse the large amount of content they offer. This place puts Drexels bookstore to shame.

The bookstore is huge, has a Starbucks and a lot of penn apparrel. They have a great program for ordering material online and coming to pick it up, which is particularly useful early in the semester when it is crowded.

This place has a wide selection of books and merchandises for U. Penn gears. Prices are a bit on the expensive side but what can you expect from a merch store near campus? Overall a great place to shop.

Pretty standard. Unfortunately a lot of books have to be purchased down at the penn book center. Not B&Ns fault per say but it woul be nice if they could find a way to get those books.

Good study space, has a small cafe on the second floor next to the quiet study area. Typical college bookstore otherwise, with overpriced books and school merchandise.
