This little store is packed with small town charm. Lots of good books. A loft full of childrens selections. Local and regional history book section. Best of all, the owners are there to help with your shopping experience. They know books. The owners are local folks that own and work in the store. Want to know something about Winchester or the Valley - just ask. A great find in a wonderful small town on the pedestrian mall in historic downtown Winchester, Virginia, USA. Full of small town charm with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Plus you can follow store events on face book at the Winchester Book Gallery!

My high school experience wouldnt be the same without the Book Gallery. The owners are the nicest people in the world and the store has a surprisingly diverse and eclectic selection of books for its size. You can also rent all kinds of films from them or buy some records, which are things most other indie bookstores dont offer. The Book Gallery really is a positive force in the community and you should totally support them if you need a book and are in Winchester!

A great Bookstore, I dont understand why anyone in Winchester would go to a chain bookstore when Winchester Book Gallery has a good selection. They have the classics plus all the newest releases, I just bought Harper Lees new book a few days ago after placing a reservation for the title a few weeks before it came out. In short, a great little bookstore that should be appreciated.

Great selection for the latest release or special gift. Witty selection of cards & bookmarks help add a nice touch to gifts as well. Enjoy the movies to rent and it is great to be able to walk downtown to find a movie on a snowy afternoon. Owners are well read, helpful and always friendly! Local artwork adds to the charm.
