This place is TERRIBLE. The OWNER has an attitude, his lead guy is arrogant.... I busted them. They left a voicemail on my message about picking up my vintage Vespa that they couldnt fix (because they are an incompetent vespa dealer) and they forgot to fully hang up the phone. They went on and on saying, "how about f_you, pick you your f_in vespa... hows that for customer service?" This dialogue went back and forth between the two for about two minutes. SO, when I went over there, I asked the owner to get out of his lazy office, he was eating a sandwich, and come listed to this funny thing. I played it back for them and they both turned RED. The owner said, "I know what this is, you dont have to play it any more." I asked them what was the point of that? How old are they? Mature? I was trying to patronize their business.... and Philly is a small town... SO, I am proudly saying, do NOT ever use them. May they go out of business. Needless to say, the kiss butt worker whined and apologized the whole way back to my house with the Vespa telling me bla bla bla.... and yes, I had the same problems as others have said with unreturned calls, etc..... Terrible business. Its a shame because I love the Vespa brand but this store should go bye bye.

After seeing only 1 review for Philadelphia Scooter I had to bud in and stick up for this place. I live in philly and stopped by the shop many times. They are very friendly and intelligent. Intelligent enough to know their stuff inside and out. As a scooter / motorcycle enthusiast I have taken these things down to the frame and rebuilt them. These guys here do this stuff for a living. At work and at home. Seriously. They will be glad to tell you what wrong with it and let you fix it yourself or they will fix it for you. Remember thought, its not like pep boys. They are not always going to have your tire in stock then and there. There are only a few places in the city that fix scooters and I would choose them first before anyone else.

I have to concur with the other reviews, the bad review posted must be for a different place. I stayed away from these guys because of that bad review. I now have a Kymco scooter and these guys are the local dealer. I had problems cold-starting and eventually did contact them to discuss this issue. Their phone and email response was excellent. They are scooter enthusiast and it shows in how they work with their customers. After my initial contacts with them, I would highly recommend them for their service and support.

I thought I posted a review a long time ago...I guess not. Anyway, I swear by this place. The guys know their stuff, and treat their customers like old friends. I thought Id get a 50cc buddy to get to work, so I could give up the subway. Dan told me I should think about the 125, and he was totally right. Instead of just having a commuter vehicle, Ive really come to love the scooter lifestyle. Id be trading it in at this point if I hadnt taken his advice.

The work on repairs is great. The price is a bit expensive (i.e., $80/hour), but when they put the hands on your scooter they fix it properly. And they dont overcharge for excessive time like they do in other places. Meeting with the guys is a bit awkward because they seem often to have something better to do than talk to the customer, but beside that the work they do is quite good.

I have been dealing with the folks at the shop for the past 4-5 years. All of my experiences have been good. They are always willing to answer my questions and they have been incredibly helpful. I bought a Kymco scooter from them, which has been trouble free. I hope to eventually buy a Vespa from them. Henry

These guys are great at what they do, and have quickly handled my Vespa issues, even though they are not a Vespa dealer. Id buy my next Vespa upgrade there tomorrow if they began selling them. Philly has a great gem for scooter repair.

I bought my scooter here and every visit was pretty pleasant. The guys there are definitely enthusiasts first, and can talk to you about their scooter love for hours. Because of that, I trust them with my baby.

Great place to buy a bike or scooter, and also get repairs. Walked over due to a flat tire, they came and towed the bike and had it fixed super fast.
