The owner is an outright liar and uses shady business practices to scam customers. I PAID FOR (see below why I put in all caps) a vehicle I bought on eBay using wire transfer. Due to the description AND conversation via phone I decided to place a bid above market value. That was a huge mistake! Once I received the vehicle I immediately noticed several issues. Rust that had been painted over on a body panel, blower fan inoperative, a/c not working (found this after fixing fan issue), rear power window inoperative, dents in 3 places, EVERY stereo speaker blown, and a severe oil leak. The ad clearly stated NO rust and EVERYTHING was checked and operates as it should. Once I contacted the seller he stated he would send a little money only AFTER I left positive feedback! Really?? He basically tried to buy feedback from me while only offering to send a fraction of the cost to fix all the problems that according to his ad were nonexistent. After I refused to be extorted and left negative feedback, the seller filed a non-payment claim against me, YES, after I paid for it. Simply put- STAY AWAY!!!! This guy is a scammer!!

I recently purchased a 2001 Dodge Ram Van 1500 with a little over 50.000 miles for my startup flooring business. I was told it ran well and from the pictures appeared to be in really good shape. I should have inspected the van myself before purchasing it. Instead I bought the van trusting the word of the dealer it was a good running van. I flew a guy from Omaha to Philadelphia to pick it up and drive it back. On the way back my driver complained about it not idling enough to keep it running when it was first started in the morning. When I got the van it had no headliner which the dealer did not disclose. I had two separate mechanics look at the van. Turns out there was a compression problem and the valves are sticking. It needs $2000 in repairs and the dealerships response was to find a better mechanic. Not any apology or empathy for my mistake. I would never recommend Carey motors to anyone. The lesson here is not trust the word of the salesman but instead inspect all the vehicles thoroughly before purchasing so you dont make the same mistake I did.

I had a good experience with Carey Motors. I purchased a 14-year-old Chevy Suburban 2500. The truck was in nice condition. I bought the vehicle on the first warm day in March and when driving home the AC was not working. I called Carey and he said to bring back for his mechanic to take a look. They replaced the compressor (not a inexpensive fix) and I picked up and AC works fine. I frankly did not expect them to fix at no cost. I was pleased.

What Not
AUTOXCAR on Ebay is a Total Fraud! Chris Carey has no ethics. He takes your "deposit", "let me hold it". Youre now off- Ebay using Paypal. Paypal wont help recover your $500., citing their auto policy. He keeps your "deposit" and sells the car again. His cars are totally misrepresented and should be scrapped. No Ebay feedback! No Car! He paid NO TAXES!............. Run away from this SCAM SCUM!

I had an awesome experience with Carey Motors. I bought a 2005 Toyota Sequoia, the car was exactly as described. I always recommended sending a inspector out if you cant get your hands on the car for piece of mind. Dont blame the seller for any problems, blame yourself for not doing due diligence.. Chris is a super nice guy, hope to do business again in the future!!

I thought I was in the wrong place because it is a warehouse building in the middle of a neighborhood with everything inside. Nice car and nice people though.

I purchased a 17 year old Taurus SES from Chriss agent in SC and other than a relatively minor repair issue all went well and I absolutely love the car!
