My review of Hertz Car sales is probably the only one you can Trust We bought a rental car from Hertz car sales in warminster pa cash pay out We did not get a mechanic to check out the car before purchase.; We just basically looked at online reviews from purchasers , the vehicle performance score, safety score , gas mileage,blue book value and recalls. 4 out of 5 stars isnt bad . The reason why We did not get a mechanic is simple ,we could not find one at the time and didnt want to risk taking it to a dealer or Pep boys and they put there con artist hands on the vehicle. So in short We took a risk. So if you want to buy a rent a car here is the deal (My personal opion ) #1 . If you have AAA or other membership you receive a discount dont mention it until after they give you a price then ask do they have discounts for membership clubs #2 If you buy or lease change your tires to a better grade . There tires are generally just bad from wear and tear. Also See if the car still has the spare tire dummy in back. #3 Stay away from the cool cars as much as possible theyre generally most popular with customers and will have the most underlying problems . #4 check for dings and dents that look undelrying on the car feel the exterior sometimes people have been in accidents and fixed the car themselves also rental car companies may fix obvious dings by smoothing them over but not fixing it totally #5 The fuel pump will probably be a concern because it most likely will be on its way out. Its common for rent a car driver to drive close empty on gas , ruining the fuel pump. This is evident when your gas is only on empty or near empty .You wont notice the potential problem if your gas is on full or even half a tank. When your fuel pump is going your car engine will make a wierd noise after gas is put in.After awhile it wont start right away Hertz should cover this under warranty but finding a dealer service center you can trust good luck. #6. FIND OUT IF ITS STIlLL DEALER CERTIFIED THiS IS A GOOD THING. NOT THERE FAKE CERTIFICATION. THE ORIGINAL DEALER IT MAY STILL BE UNDER THAT WARRANTY. #7 FIND OUT WHERE IT WAS ORIGINALLY SHIPPED FROM DONT GET IT IF FROM AREAS THAT FLOOD ALOT #8 CHECK YOUR CONTRACTwhen closing MAKE SURE THEY PUT THE EXCACT COLOR MAKE MODEL ETC.They put the wrong color on my contract. #9.IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR TO LAST 2 YEARS OR MORE Dont tAKE ON LONG TRIPS GET A RENTAL CAR INSTEAD. IN THE WINTER ENTERPRISE LOCATIONS HAVE A WEEKEND SPECIAL 9.99 A DAY #10 STAY WITHIN YOUR WARRANTY MILES FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN #11.CHANGE YOUR WINDSHIELD WIPERS #12. Your breaks are probably on there way out so change them if you hear anything suspicious #13. check the interior carefully Check insides for cigarette burns damaged interiors is a bad sighn. CHECK THE AC AND HEATER RADIO ETC. #14. Expect your registration to take forever #15 LOOK UNDER THE HOOD AND THE UNDER CAR # 16.WHEN TEST DRIVING BACK UP AND FORWARD ASK FOR A SOMEWHAT BUMPY ROAD TO TEST DRIVE. ALSO TEST DRIVE IT TWICE IN ONE DAY #17. Compare insurance they offerd me insurance through there affiliate which WAS actually cheaper than my other options #18. ALL THE SALESMAN ARE CHEESY SO YOU CANT TRUST THEM ,JUST TRUST YOUR GUT. DO YOUR RESEARCH GET A MECHANIC IF YOU CAN or vehicle diagnostic you can rent before you buy so take it to get checked. #19.Make them fix anything you can Before you buy they will check your concerns about the vehicle . # 20 .EXPECT TO PUT MONEY INTO IT HERTZ OFFERS THE BEST PRICE IN COMPARISON TO AVIS , ENTERPRISE, AND ALL THE OTHERS BUT IT COMES AT A.PRICE. ITS STILL ACTUALLY BETTER TO GET THE LOWEST PRICE SINCE BUYING A RENTAL IS RISKY ANYWAY. #21 Last but not least if you dont like your car get rid right away if you can, before you put to many miles on it. You may not recover all your money but youll come close without to much of a loss. Cargus is a good place to sell and facebook. Dont get that BS extended warranty they offer you . The company has horrible reviews find your own warranty company.

Walter Young was our salesperson. No pressure buying from Walt and he had everything ready before we arrived. We signed the papers and left with our new car in less than 30 minutes. This is the first car that Ive ever bought where I didnt feel that Id been screwed by the dealer. We got a great price for a great car. We did the 3-day trial period. This gave us a chance to drive the car in the day and in the night. This also gave us time to have our mechanic check out the car. I thought all Hertz sales locations would have the same price. Wrong. We looked at an identical car to what we bought and it had more miles and was more expensive at another Hertz sales location. We LOVE our 2015 Toyota Prius v. Walt, thank you for making it a smooth transaction! I have never recommended a car dealer in my life, but I highly recommend Hertz Car Sales in Warminster, PA. You owe it to yourself to at least check them out when you are car shopping. If nothing else, the 3 day trial period lets you see if you will really like the car.

Horrible experience after sale. I live in NJ and purchased car in PA .Its been almost 2 months since I purchased my car. I did not receive my title for almost month and half. Once I received the title it was incorrect. They messed it up. I went to DMV to register and they said it was incorrect. I spoke to the Hertz agent and she mentioned it was correct. I went to DMV again and was told its wrong and the DMV person spoke on the phone with Hertz agent explaining what was wrong. No one at Hertz is talking responsibility and I still dont have the title as we speak. My temporarily registration is about to expire and I wont be able to drive the car anymore. I wont recommend this location.

Had an awful experience. Left disheartened and disappointed. When I arrived, the car I was interested in already had a deposit on it and nobody had informed me prior to my hour long drive there. The other cars they had to offer were very disappointing. There was false advertising on every vehicle I looked at. The sales person I worked with wasnt awful but one of the other guys sat in the corner and kept rolling his eyes while I was speaking which was very rude. I completely wasted 4 hours of my day. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Dont be fooled by the good prices on the vehicles, youll just be let down.
