I have never had such a deplorable experience with customer service. I ordered a refrigerator a week ago and it was supposed to get delivered at 10am 7/7. I took a day off work to wait for the delivery. Around 11am 7/7 they called me and told me they cant make it today and would reschedule for the following week 7/13. I explained that I am having a kitchen installed tomorrow and its imperative that I have that fridge today, they told me "sorry nothing we can do." I asked for a manager to call me and hour went by with no call. I called customer service and spent 45 mins being transferred around to 5 different people with no one willing to help or give me any answer. Finally they told me this store manager would call me. Twenty minutes later he calls and acts like he doesnt know whats going on, and he is "going to look into and call me back," again offering no solution. An hour later the assistant store manager calls me and offers his apology with no concern for correcting the issue. No one would do anything to help the customer, they are simply too big they have lost their focus on customer service and could clearly care less. They made zero effort to help me and as a result my kitchen install is now pushed back 4 weeks and all Home Depot can say is "sorry, its out of hands." Amazingly according to Alan (store manager) and David (ASM) (Alan didnt even have to backbone to call me back), they had no way of getting me a fridge that I paid for a week ago. I even offered to pick it up myself, they told me no. As a result I had no choice but to cancel the order and go to lowes who will be delivering the appliances the next day. All I was asking was for them to honor there promise to me of delivery on 7/7 and they tried to put it on me as if I was the bad guy. Its a said day when you spend thousands of dollars with a corporation and they passed the buck and pointed the finger at other people all day and would never own up to it. The spent the entire buying time and pointing the finger at other people. This place may be fine for nails and flowers but DO NOT make major purchases here, they WILL screw you over! In addition to this, I tried to order carpet with them and they were 4 weeks out, I went to the local guy and it was installed the same week. I am so glad I didnt get the carpet with them, god only knows what a fiasco that would have been.

I never leave bad reviews but this one is just that. I placed an order the first week of August for flooring that wasnt in stock. I was told the order would be received the 13th and Id get a call that day to schedule the delivery. I called the next day. My order wasnt in yet. I called the next day. My order was in and I was told it would be delivered the 19th. Never received it. Called the next day. They told me they were sorry and that they dont know who told me that but it would be delivered on the 20th between 8-12. I called at 1:30 on the 20th. They tell me they dont know who told me that because they dont do deliveries on sundays. I said whatever lets schedule it now. Its set for Monday. I get a call an hour later. They cant deliver Monday it has to be Tuesday. I called Tuesday for a window and they couldnt give me one. A dispatcher called me 6 times between 7 and 8 to tell me they were delayed. They get here and they start unloading boxes in my front yard 30 feet away from my house. I have my 5 year old and 13 year old helping bring boxes in because I have an infant in my arms. It was an all around nightmare. At least they got the order right.

You get a two. One of the stars I gave just because you had what I needed in stock (not hard since your keep your lumber pretty well supplied...so dont jump for joy there). Yet as Im scaling (I mean that literally, as the ladder thing almost went out from under me) your wood piles to find the lumber I wanted, out of the four orange smock wearing employees I saw, guess how many asked if I needed assistance?? Go ahead. You wont need any fingers or toes to count it, because the number was a big fat zero. Then I paid for said lumber expecting to get that much appreciated question from your cashier,"do you need any help loading your purchases?" Glad I didnt hold my breath because Id be dead and gone. Then as Im outside loading the wood into my truck your sales associate came out to gather the one lonely cart in the parking lot return area. He looked at me. Even smiled. So maybe that second star can count for that too. Still no offer of assistance. Your customer service is lacking and Im sorely disappointed.

Absolutely stinks. Researched to make sure that the item I needed was in stock for a project I am working on. Drove all the way down here wasting time and gas to find out that they did not have the item. If you are not going to use technology to its fullest extent dont bother using it. Should have known to go to Lowes. It is a longer drive but they at least have what I need and the knowledgeable staff to assist.

The cashier has no respect for customers, and is immature, she literally insulted me right to my face about the way I look. She was treating me like I wasnt allowed to shop there because Im not good enough. Thats okay though, if you think that. Because I will be glad to never spend a dime there ever again, knowing thats going into peoples pockets that cant even treat customers with simple, human decency.

Worst customer service experience ever! Asked a simple question about paint, the employee wss very rude with his replies. He ever responded to me with, "Well Im the one wearing the apron." Absolutely ridiculous to talk down to customers who are coming to your store for help. Customers save yourself from a horrible experience and go to the store in East or West York.

Ordered a refrigerator and received the wrong one due to an error made by an employee in the recording of the item number and description. Not only was the wrong refrigerator brought, but the one I had ordered was no longer in stock and must wait at least two weeks for the correct one to arrive.
