Wonderful childrens bookstore with lots of games and toys as well. Store is a delightful treasure trove of well selected books and toys. The staff are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. I have gone in with vague descriptions of my nieces and nephews interests, and each time they have helped me select the perfect book. They know my son well and direct him to the books and games he has loved the most. Its the first place I think of when getting something for my or other peoples children.

Character Development is a charming bookstore aimed at kids. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The book selection is not enormous, but high quality and varied (catering to a broad range of interests). There is a nice selection of toys and games as well. Small, friendly, and high quality. My whole family loves character development.

I called looking for something in particular, which they were sold out of. So they offered to order it for me, then told me all the other local places I could try. I was so impressed I went there instead. Turns out they have a nice selection of decent quality kids toys -- lots of educational stuff and such. I will be returning.

A Private User

Bought toys for Christmas. One pop up wooden toy broke after 2 hrs. Also decided Quercetti marble run could break easily. Tried to return both. Given a hard time with broken toy and refused with marble run due to a tear in the box. We expected in good customer service. NOT TRUE!
