My fiancee Tracey and I purchased her 2008 Ford Taurus Limited AWD in Feb. 14th of 2013. It was a leased car returned with 38,000 miles with certified ratings as we were told. We purchased the car and the Sales Rep Mr. Ed made sure we had a wonderful purchasing experience. The buying experience was a four star experience far as we were concerned. THEN THE NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE with service and maintenance begins. If you listen to Day Fords voice mail you hear bragging rights about their "Five Star Customer Maintenance Service" ratings. Please understand for context and characterization we take Traceys car in for service every 4000 miles (book says 5000) for oil change and tire rotation and electronic 39 point check. We also had taken the car in for new sets of tires twice after only 21000 miles of wear and tear. Also we purchased new rotors, breaks and 100 % compliance with all the certified technicians recommendations. If the certified tech says do this or that, we follow the technicians request 100% of the time. The point we are making is since Feb. 2013 our car has been in Day Fords service center 11 times, 3 were due to break downs of electrical system failure, engine power failure and now heating systems failure ect. The interesting part is when we take the car in for regular service we get these receipts that has at least 40 to 50 check marks on them claiming these services were performed DIRECTLY PERTAINING to the failed systems. Our case and point, how can you have; 1. 100% compliance service attendance record of taking the certified car into the dealership for service paying $105.00 per hour labor cost! 2. Agreed to every single recommendation the certified techs brings out and suggest (100% compliance record documented with paid receipts). 3. Never ever had any service performed on the car other the Day Fords certified technicians in the history of ownership. 4. Purchased Platinum Service Coverage for protection of the car for 5 years or 50,000 miles which ever comes first. 5. Hauled into dealership three times by AAA service. 6. Reported by the service center after their claim of the car is fixed. We couldnt find what you (customer) said on the service report was experiencing when you brought the car in. Claiming to have test drove the car. 7. Car in Day Fords shop for as many as five days at one time for service. In closing this experience is what we are dealing with this very day. Spent all our hard earned money paying labor rates at $105.00 per hour with what we believed was the best option and five star service center for their Ford products and yet we are having nightmare after nightmare with Day Fords maintenance service center. I am fired up but try to keep my composure but, my fiancee (her car) has exploded with anger and Day Fords incompetence. She says just because you check the box on the receipts doesnt mean you performed the service. Still dealing with nightmares. Day Ford when you call in for service you brag about your "Five Star Car Care Center"on your phone voice answering service but, in reality even for customers with 100% compliance and recommendation service report cards. Why are we not getting "FIVE STAR SERVICE" for our car?

Day has had three strikes and will never get my business, wish I could give 0 stars. First, my mustang was having abs light come on, so I took it in to get fixed, they told me it was a $120 abs wheel sensor, even though I told them I already replaced it. They they said that didnt fix the issue...go figure. Then they said a wire touches my exhaust pipe and must of melted together. They told me they were going to charge me $350 to cut the bad part out and heat shrink new wire.....basIcally rig it. I told them to just give me my car back, I can do that. $300+ for labor, sensor and them to NOT fix my abs issue. Second I needed to buy a couple of pieces of hardware for my mustang, waited at the parts desk for 45 minutes was bounced around to 3 people saying the parts guy will be right there. Finally a guy approaches me says his system was down and took my name and number....never got a call back. Finally, My F150 was seeming to have a transmission leak and of course my warranty was going to expire in less than a week. I live 50 miles from Washington Ford where I bought my truck, so I talked to my local dealer Day Ford to have it looked at. Day told me I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a transmission specialist to look at it (unacceptable) and at that point I would no longer have a warranty. So I called Washington Ford and they took my truck that night and everything was resolved within the warranty time.

What a great buying experience!! Between Sean, Newton and Mike I couldnt have had a better time buying a car. Sean was great. He was informative, worked hard to get me a good deal, and was such a nice young man. I really appreciate his efforts. During the test drive of two different cars, he explained everything about them, answered any questions, and took the time to let us get a good test drive of each vehicle. I went in to the dealership sure of myself that I was just window shopping. I left with a great car, feeling really good about the purchase I just made. Newton explained the technology in the car in great detail so we understood everything there was. What a nice person to work with! He was so personable and made you feel at ease with the technology. Mike took the time to explain everything about the finance, warranties, and the oh so many forms one must sign. Again, very nice and very helpful. I have had some really bad experiences with car dealerships, but this was the polar opposite of those. I didnt feel that anyone was treating me differently because I was a woman, nor was I treated like I didnt know what I wanted or what I was doing. Everyone was pleasant and respectful and went out of their way to make me feel at ease and comfortable. Thank you!

I have been looking for a new vehicle for some time now, and couldnt get a deal made for several reasons at several other dealers. I called Pete at the recommendation of a business associate and I am sure glad that I did. He was inviting on the phone and assured me that he would give me the best price on my new truck and my trade. Being a skeptical person I had my reservations and I was Dead Wrong!! The staff was helpful and courteous and knew their product well. They were very helpful and concerned with making sure I had a pleasant buying experience. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the new vehicle and explained all of the features in detail. Great Price on the truck, Fair trade value for my old vehicle and they had the deal done in 2 hours from start to finish! I am very bottom line oriented, I did 3 months of product research and price shopping the Ford and Chevy line. For these guys to make a deal I am pleased with in 2 hours says it all!! Great working with Bob, Newton, Jason, and most of all Pete!! I will send anyone looking for a new Ford to see you guys and you can count on my business next time I am in the market! Thank you!!
