After having a lot of my work wardrobe destroyed by water damage caused by a leaking water heater I remembered being told about this store. If you can go on a Wednesday most items are half price, except for one of the colored (or white) tagged items. I purchased 12 items for less than $20.00 dollars!!! I am not cheap, but I am frugal, and in a bad financial situation at the moment, This store is the best thing that I have come upon in the last two years of my life. I am so grateful for their service.... I cannot thank them enough for how much they have helped me out in my dire situation. I am not a religious person but I bless them with my sincere gratitude, and if you have something that is of no use to you, please consider donating it to their mission to help people.

i see most of the reviews on this store are old. i was there tonight. im a mom..i had less than an hour to shop/etc. when i finally got to line, there was a good 5 people ahead of me (mind you, it wasnt a half-day Wednesday) ...and one checkout clerk. Duude, that line didnt budge for 10 mins!! i politely laid my items aside and left. maybe im too impatient..but there are occasions when another checkout clerk needs summoned!! This was one of those occasions!!! wow... there is a lot of competition brimming in the thrift business round here and they arent keeping up.

Disgusting just horrible service was terrible spoke to someone named Tim who has absolutely no concept of customer service or a remote clue or how to manage a retail store. I was so disgusted I thought salvation army provided good service to the community and helped addicts recover I would rather give a Crack addict money then ever give salvation army another dime. I truly think this tim fellow that I felt with was high himself

Love the Salvation Army! Your money and donations actually help those afflicted with addictions! Unlike most thrift stores over 90 cents from every dollar goes into helping these people find Christ and learn how to live a life without substance abuse! Im a graduate of their Adult Rehabilitation Center and I owe my life to these wonderful people! 3 years sober and counting! Praise God!

I like the deals & everything however they could hire some kinder ppl. Every location is full of ignorant staff. I am also wondering when salvation army will quit being cheap & stop putting Staples on everything I am tired of the holes & injuries. The stuff is given to them. Its just so hard to understand why they havent upgraded to tags.

The prices are raising rapidly. On the 50% off color tickets, the price is doubled. Also, the other color tickets that arent on sale, the merchandise is old and damaged. I came across a pocketbook that supposedly was 50% off and it would cost me 24.99 where is the discount? They are pricing like a brand new item. What is happening?

I shop here for most of my everyday clothes. They have a huge selection, and I have found some very good bargains ! The workers are very nice too ! At times the check-out lines can be long ; they move along pretty fast. Love this store !

Stinks. Much higher prices compared to others especially when the stuff is donated for free. Ripping off people that dont have a lot of money is not kewl. Staff were rude to other customers like they were just beneath them.

This place is huge compared to other stores Ive been to, and have really great vintage and current items. I live in MD and love to come to this store whenever I visit PA. Definitely recommend this store to everyone!!!
