I wanted to order a childs table and chairs set that would be appropriate for a very little girl as she grew up through the years while also being lovely in the corner of our son and daughter-in-laws family room. Was all of that possible in one table and chair set? I found Country Lanes website, and was so struck and impressed by the quality and beauty of their construction, staining and finishing work for all of their furniture--with not a single shortcut for their childrens furniture. In fact, I read how they add special, additional coats of a special varnish-like substance to protect the childrens wood tables and chairs against water and craft activities. Perfect for the tea parties and crafts that our granddaughter loves to do...and will be doing through the years... So I called Country Lane all the way from Oregon, and the young woman who answered the phone then spent generous amounts of time with me over a couple of phone conversations helping me to choose the best possible wood, style and stain for the uses and setting for this childrens table and chair set. They then committed to making sure it was all done by Christmas and Country Lane kept their word. And then our son drove to the Annville workshop, and was truly touched and impressed when he picked up the table and chairs set a few days before Christmas. He was calling and texting me about how beautiful and well made it all was, and how it would last through all the years, and into the next generation ! He was truly touched by our investment. And come Christmas morning, our little granddaughter and grandson were both thrilled... And when my husband and I arrived in Hershey a few weeks later, we saw it all for ourselves, and were deeply grateful for such beautiful craftsmanship, for all the help in choosing the perfect choice for their home (out of so many lovely woods, styles and stain possibilities)---and for all the warm and gracious service that made it all possible.

When we were looking for bedroom furniture, we didnt want to go to the box furniture stores. We wanted well-made furniture. I stumbled upon Country Lane Furniture on the web. We made a trip to the store (about an hour). Their store is amazing, with furniture for every room to pick from. The sales staff is very knowledge of each piece of furniture and fabric. We told the sales girl what we were looking for, she showed us the bedroom furniture area, how we can mix and match wood types and stains, and let us be. There was no pressure at all. She checked on us a few times to see if we had any questions. We found the set we liked and wanted to add some storage drawers on the bottom of the bed. No problem. It was great how we could customize the furniture all the way down to the drawer pulls. We purchased a bed, two side tables, an armoire, full length mirror and blanket chest. Since each piece is handmade, we knew we would have to wait about 8 weeks or so for the delivery, which was fine by us. Our furniture was delivered by Country Lane Furniture employees in a company truck. The delivery guys were very professional, courteous and extremely careful with each piece. Our new bedroom furniture is beautiful!! We were blown away with the quality of each piece and how well-made the furniture was. Needless to say, we have gone back and purchased living room furniture. If you are looking for high quality, well made furniture, Country Lane Furniture is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

This is the only place my wife and I will buy furniture. Its just silly to go anywhere else. (Unless were looking for ultra-cheap, disposable furniture that we expect will be destroyed by our kids within a few years; we get that at Ikea. But otherwise...) When we bought our first home, we shopped around for good furniture. We didnt think we could afford really nice furniture until we went to Country Lane. The prices are comparable to a lot of big-name chain furniture stores, except the stuff is *way* better-looking and *way* sturdier. Plus, its all in classic designs that will never, ever go out of style. I fully expect that the furniture we bought will outlive my wife and I, and our children or grandchildren will happily be using it many decades from now. And it didnt cost especially much. And, as far as the shopping experience, it simply cant get better. Everyone in the store is super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, theres the possibility of having stuff custom altered, or even custom made. I asked if I could have a hall table two inches higher than their floor model, and for a reasonable extra charge, they did it with no problem at all. Im even hoping to get them to make a custom liquor / wine cabinet at some point. Gorgeous furniture that lasts forever, made exactly the way you want it, sold by nice, helpful, knowledgeable people at a very reasonable price. It is just silly to go anywhere else.

Like finding a needle in a haystack, we’re so grateful to God for allowing us to discover Country Lane Furniture on a family sight-seeing trip to Pennsylvania. From the moment we walked into the store we could see the superb quality in the craftsmanship, and we were impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, and integrity of this business. They took the time to answer all of our questions and help us get the order done right the first time. We selected a dining room hutch on sale, had a custom cabinet built to complement it, and had a suite of custom office furniture built precisely to our room dimensions and preferences. The order was delivered on time in July 2011, and expertly installed by a very talented and courteous crew. Our furniture order arrived perfectly and to this day we have not had one single problem---everything is just beautiful, works flawlessly, and will last for generations. WOW, how we are impressed with Country Lane Furniture! Do yourself a favor---look no further. You can trust Country Lane Furniture to do it right and treat you right just like the Golden Rule!

Only by divine intervention was I able to talk family members into traveling slightly off the beaten path and visiting Country Lane Furniture while heading home from Hershey Park. Once inside the store, my teenage boys and husband realized that this place is the “real thing” and, amazingly, totally bought into the process of picking out a 4 foot round table (with leaf extensions) and 6 chairs. Yes, the store was very impressive, as were the sales associates who were very accommodating and patient as we sat in every possible chair and finally picked out the kitchen chair style our family preferred. Two hours after arriving and discussing options with the sales associates about the tabletop style, pedestal, stain color, chairs, number of leafs, and choice of wood, the table was ordered. The table and chairs arrived a week before Thanksgiving and when I say it is a masterpiece, I mean “masterpiece” in the truest sense of the word. This set is absolutely beautiful!

Passing by Country Lane Furniture, from Lebanon Farmers Market, when I ask my husband to stop in to look at their furniture. It was a WOW visit. Personnel greeting as entered, no pushy pushy while looking through their beautifully crafted furniture. Went back a few weeks later to look for a sofa & left with a sofa purchase; but, the biggest surprise was the delivery charge to Mechanicsburg. They charged $45 compared to most local deliveries, from $60-95 with driving distance of only 5-minutes but no more than 15-minutes. Weve been back to purchase more; a box spring & mattress set then another visit for a sturdier recliner but also checking on other items. Amber was our sales rep on all vivits; quite reassuring on your purchases & most willing to check on item not seen in store. A very definite & highly recommended store to purchase good solid furniture plus exceptional delivery service.
