Long Bros has always been right down the street from my house and work. I would stop in every once in a while for a thing here and a widget there. But I always seemed to think of the big box stores as my first option for selection. Well once I gave Long Bros a true chance, Ive never looked back. They have some of the best selection and price anywhere in Oregon. Im always amazing at how big their place is. It just keeps on going and going. To top it off, the awesome Long family owns and runs the place. If you have a choice for your hardware and building supply needs, make sure you choose Long Bros.

Im temporary in the area and was thinking about a side project. Ive been to the big Home Improvement stores but just couldnt get the help I needed. I accidentally came across Long Bros and while just browsing through the store I was offered help and after telling the employee about my side project and limitations, the employee helped me get it all sorted out and the parts I needed quickly. Rude, disgusting service, some prices made me think I was back in Hawaii or Alaska. Clerk did not know how to measure and cut, mgr a complete ass. All unapologetic. Never again. Walked out and went to Hubbard instead.

Do not use LB for a pole building. We made our down payment in May and the building is not done yet the following March. Poor communication and every excuse in the books as to why no progress.

These guys are friendly and know there stuff. Way better than the folks down the street. When it is busy it takes a few minutes more but they are quick to accommodate large crowds.
