This is a great store! Like others have said, it has a homey old-town feel that is really lost in the newer hardware stores. Most importantly, the guys (and gals) that work in the store really know their products. They give helpful professional advice, and dont mind even just passing the time of day with you. They are always willing and happy to make sure your questions are answered properly. I always find myself just browsing for other items that I did not have on my list. I dont typically do that in the bigger box stores. Keep it up!!!

GW Hardware has a bunch of numscull "Worker Bees". These folks seem to just exist at their jobs. I love the popcorn. When you do lock onto a "Worker Bee", The knowledge level of products available is below par. Often times setting us up for failure. I.e. Wrong application products, wrong type fasteners, paint compatability. Should I continue. See for yourself. Right next to the Liquor store.

You cant find this kind ok knowledge and help anywhere in the area. The store is small but loaded and easy to navigate and there are people everywhere willing to help - I dont have to ask for help its offered! Someone made a comment that the employees are not willing to help - he/she must have broke in the store - if the employees are there they will help you LOL Keep up the great work

Nice store, they have most everything but DONT BUY THEIR PAINT!!! Their Best Look paint does not cover. It took me 2 coats of primer and 4 coats of their paint to cover a similar color. They mixed 3 cans of paint for me all were to be the same color. No two cans are the same. I painted my room and you can see where one can ran out and the next can started. Not even a close match!!

They have people there who know what you need and willing to make sure you have what you need. Two times I went there and told them what project I was doing and they got the best person there who had the most knowledge about what was doing to help me. And explained you to fix what I was working on. By far the best hardware I have ever shopped.

This place has everything! Stop here first and get all of your hardware and household/gardening items. But bring extra money, because if you walk around, you will find many other items that you need but had forgot about. Most of the staff is extremely helpful! and They know a ton!

You pay a little more, but it is so worth the knowledge, customer service, and great selection of hardware items you may need. Friendly and helpful. It really has that small-town hardware store feel, which is wonderful.

Not my first choice. The staff is friendly but not knowledgeable. It is amazing that anybody can find anything, the store is crammed with everything under the sun but very unorganized.
