This is specifically towards the Photo Department. Do not use this service if you are in a hurry to get your pictures. They say "third times a charm". Well, it took me four times. Their machine has been broken down more times than it should. I only have two places to choose from in Sandy to have pictures printed. You spend your time choosing and editing your pictures and then sending them off. You go to the store only to find the machine was broke down. Twice I sent off my pictures the day before thinking Id pick them up on my way out of town, only to find there were no pictures. I didnt even get a phone call stating the machine was broken. Last night I went to the store to do my pictures there and sure enough the machine was down again. This morning, I called to see if the machine was up and running. I was, so I hurried and sent my pictures off. My husband was in the store so he went by the Photo department to see if they were ready. Not ready yet, but they had received them. About an hour later I got a phone call from Fred Meyer saying the pictures had brown spots on them. The machine was down again. Its no surprise when I went to Walgreens and was told lots of people come there complaining about Fred Meyers photo machine. Do not use this place unless you are willing to redo your order. Fred Meyer you need to purchase a new machine.

I have shopped Fred Meyers religiously for years and years. I enjoy the fuel points and rewards points earned as well. Although, this location particularly tends to dissapoint me. Many things often arent stocked, some items are very hard to find. Customer service in the Deli is non-existant most days. Bakery items arent as fresh as other stores. However, mainly my problem is with the massive amount of chaos at this store. Especially on the weekends. Theres many many many people that shop here and the isles arent very wide for ongoing traffic and people who have to stop and search for certain items. The main isle where you access all of the cashier lines - theres always displays placed in the way of where lines could be formed effectively and due to those displays being where they are it makes it hard to again, browse through the store. They always have lots of cashiers readily available, and other than the unavoidable chaos the store is great. Obviously nothing can be done about it but the store has simply outgrown its size. Its quite small considering other locations and the amount of people whom frequent the store. I often have to leave the Sandy Fred Meyer and just go to the Gresham one to get what I need and be able to shop calmly.

The people who work at Fred Meyer are wonderful. However, the signage is atricious. Signs at one end of each aisle do not post what is available down the entire aisle, so a customer has to stroll around the store and look down each aisle to find something. Also, signs are inaccurate, i.e. "Frozen Entrees" is where the ice cream is. There are other discrepancies too, since there are too few entries on each sign. Please also add smaller signs over each section down each aisle. Also, when you change the store around (which is very disconcerting after I finally know where things are), please change the signs too!

The Halloween Festivities were a huge Let down. The woman running the event was obviously stressed and upset about something. The costume contest was horrible. They lined the kids up and without any fun or excitement or acknowledgment of costumes they announced a winner (Kids didnt even know it had started) and everyone left confused and upset. The ice princess came out in normal clothes after she was done and the realization that she wasnt real upset my four year old. The entire event was a lot of standing around and watching the stressful lady run around. I highly recommend finding something else to do next year.

The store is great but the gas station has slow and poor service. I was waiting in line. There were two cars at the pump and another Infront of me. The cars at the pumps left and the car Infront of me pulled forward to the far pump. As I went forward, the attendant put a cone in front of my pump so a tractor could use the diesel nozzles on both sides of the pump. The cone should have been put behind my vehicle. I gave a gesture and went to Arrco. I filled up and drove past Fred Meyer and the truck was still there. This is not the first time tractor trailers have caused issues.

I have been doing some spring cleaning and found a pair of shoes I have not worn in AGES!! Put them on and went SHOPPING! Got to Fred Meyers and the sole of my one shoe decided to come apart! Great! Im near the hardware department and started to look at glue! Set up time, need to fix now and how? The sales associate said I could run to produce and get some rubber bands. True, but it will take me forever to get there. She took off and came back with 2 rubber bands. Good thing because the other shoe decided to break too. THANK YOU so much for helping me.

Love fred Meyers. Customer service girls are all really sweet. I bought a mothers ring from here. It meant allot to me. Most of the time they order it and it comes back as you wanted it. Well not me. The ladys asked me how would I like to pick out the stones my self. I was like what? So we made a appt. And I sat inside the store and was handed these little itty bitty cups. And inside each one was the stones I wanted. That was so awesome. When my ring came in I cried when I put it on.

Fred Meyers is the only place to shop! I get just about everything I need in one place. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. If you want cheaper and lesser quality, go to Walmart or Target. Groceries are always stocked, and foods are always fresh and presented well. Jewelry department was very helpful during Christmas time when buying gifts (and of course having to return or exchange gifts). Pharmacy is always friendly, quick and efficient... even when they are busy.

Bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Sounds like its been an issue for a while. Staff is friendly and helpful. Ive ran in to a couple snooty ones but havent seen them since then. Love the old guy who rings up front. Hes not as fast as everyone else, but he makes me laugh and smile so if I see him working I always pick him.

Its close, the deli and produce staff are helpful and friendly. Sandy is a small town, so they are smaller than some of the stores closer in, but that is the only downside. There is fuel stop, and they are near the Sandy Cinemas. Subway, Burger King, TCBY, and Papa Murphys are right next door.

Great location! Just wished the parking lot wasnt designed so bad - whoever designed it had to have been on some seriously good drugs they placed muddy deviders outside of your parking place instead of concrete so that way you have muddy feet in your car worse than some third world countries.
