Although the donuts are fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, EVERY time I have been there (after 9:30am), they have had fewer than three varieties, and less than ten doughnuts total! Idk why they stay open until 12n, or 2:00pm, when they have little, or no inventory left. Maybe the kinds that sell out early, they need to make more of!!! I got tired of stopping in 4+ hours before they close, to find minimal choices. At least put a sign outside "Sold out!"

One of the few old fashion doughnut shops still left. Great prices and delicious, not oily or every selection covered in icing. I see that in almost every major doughnut chain. Icing on yeast doughnuts is fine but you dont need icing on the chocolate cake doughnuts when youre going to put chocolate icing on top of that. Anyway,get the doughnut holes if you have a kid. Tasty and cheep for LOTs of them.

Their hours are til 2p they were closed at noon with a sign stating they were out. Ive been a food sevice manager for years being out of your main product is not ok. Plus, they didnt change the answering machine to let people know. I give a business one chance. Not to mention 8 other customers pulled in and left apparently making money isnt an issue with them.

The nostalgia factor is on high whenever I visit King Donuts. Its like the corner donut shop from when I was kid. I love plain cake donuts, and besides being one of the few places you can find them in Salem, theyre also super good here.

The donuts were very tasty. They plus use some more variety in their products. I was concerned about the cat smell by the entrance. Huge turnoff considering its good establishment. I found another donut place in town Im happier with.

Delicious donuts! Friendly and patient at the counter. I had an apple fritter that was perfect, an old fashioned glazed and another glazed. They were all really good. The seating is a lot uncomfortable and limited but well worth it.

This is the true little donut shop. Its family run and they always have great selection. And you cant beat the fact that the donuts are great. This is not your freezer dough grocery store stuff.
