Yes its EXACTLY how great everyone raves about. This hands down the best doughnut place I have ever been to! You have so many options, SO MANY. You most likely will stand in line with some dance music playing in the background and just a place full of young people! The energy when you enter is like no other! Word of advice is start figuring out what kind of doughnuts you want because the line moves really fast!! Id recommend looking for the flavors online and make a decision because once you get to the front there is a sense of hurry in taking your order and rightfully so because there are so many customers even if this place is open 24 hours a day! Or you be the cool guy/girl and say surprise me! Anyways I ordered the Dirt, old dirty bastard, captain crunch, grape ape, voodoo bubble, the homer, Portland cream, voodoo doll, maple blazer blunt (no its not a edible ), diablos Rex, triple chocolate penetration (and yes I got i because of the name also), aquamarine. passion fruit jam Dirt is the oreo with vanilla frosting. Tastes like Oreo in donut form Old dirty bastard is the same as dirt but with chocolate frosting and peanut better Captain crunch is just as you imagine it, the beloved cereal on top of a doughnut grape ape is that grape taste on the doughnut (more like candy grape flavor as opposed to natural grape) The homer is a must have for any Simpsons fan which is the iconic doughnut brought to life with strawberry frosting with sprinkles Portland cream is Bavarian cream with chocolate frosting with some cute eyes Voodoo doll- The most popular doughnut with raspberry jam. While the doughnut was good , the jam was okay. Maple blazer blunt- Looks like a blunt with maple flavoring and no you cannot smoke it Diablos Rex- Is a doughnut with a pentagram for those who like to summon a partner eating with them. Although this doughnut was also okay, not great Voodoo bubble- Of you love bubblegum, Just get it, dont argue with me. Frosting with bubblegum dust on it passion fruit jam- It was just like a jelly doughnut except it had passion fruit!! very unique flavor! aquamarine- Looks like a star from Super Mario except orange and tastes like orange! Mamma orange! Triple chocolate penetration-Great flavor, just like coco puffs with chocolate frosting! Thats it folks, If I come by Portland I will try all the flavors I can! Highly recommend this place!

Im glad we found this location. Not only was it closer to where we were staying, but there was also NO LINE! The long touristy line in the downtown location is such a turn off for me, and I wasnt about to stand in line for doughnuts, no matter how good people say they are. This location looks like it was converted from an old fast food joint. There was enough seating inside and you actually had room to move around and breathe since it wasnt packed with tourists. I usually judge a doughnut place by its plain glazed since the specialty doughnuts have so much stuff on them you dont actually know what the doughnut tastes like. I ordered the plain glazed along with the "official" Portland Cream, which is a chocolate covered raised doughnut filled with cream. First, the plain glazed was so fluffy and soft I was surprised. I was expecting a dense dry doughnut but it was quite the opposite. It wasnt the best Ive ever had, but it was definitely up there. It wasnt overly sweet and it was delicious. Next, the Portland Cream. Wow, it was so chocolaty and big, but it did take a while to get to the cream filling. But once there, the cream, mixed with the chocolate and the raised doughnut made for a flavorfully deliciously sweet doughnut. I definitely can only eat one of these, but one would be more than enough. I finished it without getting overwhelmed by the sweetness of it. Perhaps I should have had some milk or coffee with it. So if youre visiting Portland, and have heard about Voodoo, I recommend going to Voodoo Too. The staff is just as friendly and they have the same deliciousness that can be packed into those same pink boxes.

I had a very bad experience with this VooDooDoughnut. I called 2 days before I came in, and the day before to see if they would have plenty of the "Blueberry Cake" Doughnut, because I had people from out of town who loved these, and I would be coming a great distance to get them (making a 60 mile round trip, )and did not want to get there and not be able to get them. I had planned on buying a dozen of them. When I got there on Saturday April 30, 2016 to pick them up I waited 20 mins at the front of the line while a server sat and chatted with another customer. When I was finally called forward, I learned they only had 1 BB Doughnut. I asked if i could wait for them, and they said yes it would be an hour and a half! I became escalated in my temparment, and the guy pulled two more out of the display cabinet. I dont know how long they had been in there. Even after I explained that if they thought there was a chance they would NOT have these they needed to tell me to place an order for them. I ended filling out my boxes with other items, and left. I was VERY VERY upset. They knew it, and didnt even offer to make it right in any way. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE nor will I recommend them in any way. I believe in prices and in quality they are WAY OVER rated ! The truth is, I got the distinct impression they REALLY DID NOT CARE ! BTW I had to hit at least one star, but truly they deserve NO stars ! Minus if possible..

Sure sure. Good doughnuts of course. Not an excuse for the service though. Theres a line out the door and the employees had no sense of urgency. Im all for being easy and relaxed at work, stress free. Pace yourself and whatnot thats great but these guys literally chatting each other up in the back while people wait for doughnuts, going as slow as possible to take peoples money and to give change back all the time in between stopping to hear what joke someone said it taking too long standing around. Stay at your stations and please get people in and out. Your doughnuts arent that great where I want to show up at 12am and wait in line for 30 minutes NOT because theres a lot of people but because they just simply go slow. They look at the line, see how many people are there and almost go as slow as possible to get people to leave I swear. The name of Voodoo shouldnt give an excuse to just expect people to come and thats it. Give some good service that doesnt make me extremely frustrated when I get to the front to where my doughnut taste like crap.

Went 12-11-12 found out cash only. So we had to have Gma pay :-)We got 3 Memphis fritters, 1 peach fritter w/cream cheese ( way to much frosting) 1 maple bacon. I wished they had put a lighter maple glaze on I could barely taste the bacon. 1 cup coffee all for $22 little on the spendy side. Everyone liked Memphis fritters very much except the the peach fritter we all agreed to much frosting. The fritters were huge. Would I recomend yes for someone else. Would "I" go again no. I like Annies on 72nd & NE Sandy Blvd or Heavenly Donuts 102nd & NE Glisen. PS Ive never gone back to Voodoo Donuts but I have had the opportunity to try other Donuts when people have brought them to the house. or theyve been included on a buffet. and for me they are all disgusting. the dough is dry and heavy. the frosting is overwhelming. Ill again tell you that the only donut that Ive eaten there is the Memphis Fritter that was any good :-[
