Stopped in for a bag of ice. Never would have stopped otherwise. Its a tired neighborhood convenience mart. Turns out its owned by an Indian couple who cook fresh, made-from-scratch Indian food daily. I bought 3 samosas and they were as good as any Ive had in Portlands many find Indian restaurants. They have a small menu of about 8 items. I am so thrilled to find take-out Indian food in my neighborhood!

Very good Indian take-out. This would be just another sad-looking neighborhood mini-mart, if it wasnt for the tasty, freshly-prepared Indian cuisine. Its to-go only. The portions are generous and the prices are modest. It really is made to order, so call about 25-30 minute in advance if you dont want to stand around in the dreary environs.

Owner hit on me. His wife was out of town. It was not what i wanted when i went in. And so i go less often. Spend less money. Beware the horny little man with Indian accent.
