Let me just start off by saying Im a Portland native who has dealt with a lot of douche-bags in customer service. Never feeling like I was quite "hip" enough to be deserving of the attention I would see others receiving. Its been incredibly insulting. That has NEVER been the case here. I dont typically write reviews. But the staff has been so consistently incredible I had to say something (I just came to their page to see if they closed early due to it being a Sunday). Literally 100% of my visits have been pleasant ones. Ive never been turned away if I ended up being a dollar or two short. Ive never been treated as though Im inferior to those spending real cash when asking if I could get a mere dollars worth of tobacco. Hell, they have even thrown in papers! I just cant say enough good things about these guys. That goes for all the employees Ive interacted with. In fact, I hope an employee gets to see this, because I love you guys! Oh, should you ever hear people talk down about this place due to it being a "chain", just remember every now and then places ends up having multiple locations i.e. "success" simply because theyre awesome. This is one shining example.

I like the look of the store really big. A good selection of their glass is from the USA but they are a little spendy. They do have some Chinese waterpipes too but that seemed to be the trend, EVERY head-shop I went to on Hawthorne has Chinese glass, its like they all got scammed by the same guy :) when your shopping you gotta be careful not to accidently buy one :) The guy I spoke with was not wearing any shoes... once again thats pretty typical of every head-shop on Hawthorne :) but he wasnt very helpful. Over all a pretty cool shop, they have a huge piece that looks like a mask or something, very dank :)

Prices of common items have gone up. Quartz to be specific. $7 dollar increase is a big jump for something that was originally $18 bucks for the same product.. A few of the workers are burnt AF. Waiting for 10mins when there are two people working the register. Have to agree with one reviewer they can be pretty useless when it comes to knowledgeable questions or terminology on fittings, nail styles, perc styles, etc..

Amazing selection of glass for one shop. A lot of big name artists are represented including Buck, Darby, Coyle, Salt, and others. The shop itself is unpleasant to visit because the staff if is very rude and demonstrate horrible customer service. They are not knowledgable about their product and dont care enough to offer any help.

lots of cool pieces but ive bought 3 of them and they all had tiny cracks in them which made them break a month later.... so its kinda how the mechanic shops sabatoge your car to make you come back, same with these guys.. so be prepared for your piece to break if you shop here

This is a great shop! Its large, clean, has a huge selection, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable...compared to my a recent visit to one of the other smoke shops in the area, which was small and staffed by vacuous sorority girls.

My favorite shop for pieces and supplies. Always super friendly staff, amazing selection, good prices. They have helped me on a number of occasions, taking there time to make sure I get what Im looking for and have never felt rushed.

Has a well priced and extensive selection with good customer service. Ive broken 14 pieces since ive started smoking and i recently bought a 7ml sweet here. Hits very nice and thick enough i wont break it. A steal at $106

I would say this store is more of a art gallery than a glass shop. They have products ranging from your run of the mill pipe to some of the most beautiful heady pieces. The staff is great because they love what they do.

Dont go here for e cigarettes. None of the staff no anything about them or how they work and their oils suck. Goto an e cigarette store, youll thank me.
