I first visited Broadway Cigar Company in the snowy December of 2009 in search for a few stocking stuffers for my husband. Since then, I have continued to return, my husband is a dedicated customer, and brought our friends and family into BCC. Their excellent service, wide array of cigar products, price point for any budget, and expert, friendly, approachable staff makes Broadway Cigar hands down the best shop in the Pacific NW. I also find that their regular communications, website & blog, and events set them apart from other stores. Combine that with a cigar friendly public smoking lounge, leather furniture and big screen TVs, and you have a combo perfect for any cigar smoker, from newbies to experts. Women & men alike are welcome!

I frequent this establishment, the staff is always great. While the cigars are more expensive than other places you get what you pay for. The lounge where you can sit for free, watch TV, use their wifi and meet new interesting people from all walks of life, Is spacious, filled with top notch leather chairs and couches. They have events which bring in big names of the cigar world, which means you can meet the makers of your favorite cigar. All in all one of the best places to sit and enjoy a cigar. Not to mention they have a members only back room that requires a membership to join, which just so happens to be out of my price range. But it gives you 24 hour access to a comfy place to enjoy a cigar.

Location is cool and the lounge, which you are allowed to smoke in is spacious. The staff is friendly. The selection is mediocre at best and I agree with Taylor, the cigars dont seemed to be well maintained. I wanted to support a local business so I bought a few sticks (even though they were overpriced mind you). One of the sticks I ended up smoking was on the dry side and split and I had to toss it. Yes, I did buy a few sticks even though they charge more than any other shop in town but I try to support local businesses. Needless to say, I will be buying my smokes at Richs and Pearl Specialty Market from now on.

I am somewhat new to this magnificant world of cigar smoking and I must say my first time experience at BCC today has been my best expirence in purchasing a cigar in the Portland/Vanc area. I wasnt treated like an idiot or an outcast like other shops in the area. The gentelmen on staff today was very informative and treated me like a person not a "nub" lounge area was a def a plus. This will be the only place I shop for sticks for now on I was suggested a blend similar to my fav and thus far I am impressed!

Happened upon this place after dropping my daughter off to her mother for our Thanksgiving visit. Pleasantly surprised by the rich and luxurious interior as it was a stark contrast from the outside. The gentleman working was very pleasant and accommodating and gave me a shop tour after I walked in and let him know I was from out of town. This place is the epitome of the MAN CAVE. If I was Portland Local Id be a local here. These places are hard to find. 5+ Stars for Broadway Cigar.

Jason & crew are extremely helpful and nice! BCC is by far my favorite cigar shop to go to in town because of the staff. Every time I go in they remember who I am and what I like. They are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to picking out the perfect cigar. Both locations have a nice set up with leather loungers and large flat screen TV. It is the perfect place to go to after work to watch a game on TV and enjoy my favorite cigar.

This shop is a destination. If you want to impress your friends and colleagues, this is the place to come. Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly customers. You never know who you might bump in to here. You can also get your shoes shined here. Greg is a magician when it comes to leather. Hell take anything you give him and make it better than new when you get it back.

Ive been to Pauls once or twice to get Gars for the Hubs, but Im a Broadway gal from now on. Spot on service and selection. Plus, when I walk in there the guys are so nice! I dont feel at all out of place, and even sat in on a deep discussion of clam chowder recipes this winter. Jason is really nice, and doesnt try to sell the cigar hyperbole.

Read the reviews on here and decided to go. As others have stated Bryan is an awesome guy. My first time in Oregon and he made me feel welcome, showed me around, and had great conversation. Great environment, excellent lounge, and good selection of cigars (as well as very good house cigars). Any time Im in Portland I will be going back.

An exceptional cigar shop with people who are open minded and very welcoming to new Comers. I stopes on to buy a cigar, had never smoked one before and Carl showed me how its dine and was very patient with this amateur. Stop here for cigars not those stuck up places that are all too common around this hipster town

Really approachable, knowledgeable people who love cigars. The sales guy in the trailer (in SE Portland?) was low key and helpful. Quality was very good and I felt sure I was getting candid advice rather than a sales pitch. I wish being a consumer was more like this for other products.

While they have an Ok selection, the humidor is way too dry our the cigars are too old. The pricing is over the top too. Im used to better Service, more well maintained product, and better pricing from my cigar shop of choice. This works when Im in a pinch, barely.

Broadway stocks some of the crème de la crème cigars. Jason and staff were extraordinarily helpful when I first started smoking cigars. They helped me build my palate and preferences for cigars. Their events are also top notch.

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy a cigar. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Right now Im Smoking a My Father Connecticut while watching Sports Center. Cant beat that!
