i brought in some stuff for trade, not for sale. most of it was vintage star wars vehicles and figures, complete mind you, from 1977 and 1980. i have been a collector for over 20 years, these pieces were just extras i was selling to gain in-store credit for something i didnt have. the prices do not match any pricing guides or even reflect ebay pricing. way too high on their prices. Also, the store owner, as he called himself, was incredibly rude and condescending. He was also misinformed as to what weapons and accessories went to what figures i had. He was VERY argumentative, and was clearly trying to insult me when i turned down his offer of 24$ store credit, for what was easily over 100$ of items on Ebay. i will never be back! Please, there are some GREAT vintage toy stores elsewhere in Portland and Vancouver, WA. please check out Rogue Toys in Portland, OR where I was given 70$ in store-credit for the exact same merchandise, then he let me buy $115 worth of merchandise for only $100. in Vancouver, please go to Show Room Collectibles, they are very fairy priced there and very friendly/helpful. stay away form Billy Galaxy!

came in with family clerk was very Anti social & Rude 1st thing i notice is there Pricing is much Higher then Ebay for alot of the same stuff i had asked to see a couple of different comic books and some kind of Tin Toy Looking 80s Robot i had to ask twice to even get a response instead of the worker taking them out to let me handle them he sets there for 10 minutes or so then walks over there to me an says what about them. then says you need to purchase 1st before i can let you see them same thing with the Tin toy Robot at that point i was ready to walk out after having to hassle him with him being very resistant an rude so i could atleast see what i was paying for if i even decided to buy them for several hundred dollers as i am leaving says thanks for buying somthing Really you talk to customers like this the people running this place should be ashamed of themselves

This place had good ideas for selling these old fashion toys.. but the problems are .. 1. Bad quality. When the toys are out of the box the colors were fading, chipping, smeared ect. Even if it was in its original box it would be broken or the colors are way off and they look like they are trying to recolor it from a marker. 2. Pricing is ridiculous. Some things that seem worth buying and are unique are cheap.. yes thats a good thing but bad for the business and a waste of money for them, and their are some modern stuff in it that are way over price.. like toy story to buy buzz is over 50$.. and you can buy them on amazon for ..10$ plus the stuff thats in bad shape also expensive. 3. It feels weird.. the owner is kinda staring at us for the whole time and it was dead silence.

Do not go into this store unless youre into being ridiculed and talked down to. The owner Billy is extremely rude and comes across as someone who hasnt got the time to waste sharing his knowledge of toys. The social skills shown by him were horrible at best. We were excited to show our collection of toys from the 80s to them. We were urged to bring some in for them to view. Upon arrival it became clear that this shop shouldnt still be in business. Please do not waste your time here. I see plenty of reviews echoing my thoughts. I do not own another store as reviews suggest I might. Im actually a regular Joe that has never written a review, good or bad. Congrats Billy on being my first. You more than deserved this one star rating

Well Ive tried this place out a couple times. Every time the owner is a totally jerk. I got made fun of and talked down to because I asked if they had an early 90s toy. Today I tried to bring some things in to sell. I tried being friendly and said "oh those pieces in my bag are from masters of the universe sets but they dont match the figures in my bag" from there I was interrupted with "I know what all of this is..." With a blank stare. I was then offered $10 for a bag of 12 figures. After walking around the store I noticed on of the figures I had he was selling for $24. Come on really? In short the guy is a dick. So screw this place. Dont waste your time. Hope they go out of business

Went in here about half a year ago, just to check the store out, not to buy anything. The girl working the desk was rude, not putting forth the effort to smile even once, and not attempting to strike up ANY sort of conversation (I got the feeling she wouldve rather gone without saying a word to me). When I asked about the age of a vintage japanese vinyl toy, she had very little knowledge of the toy, and was very standoffish. Ive since read the reviews for this place, saying the owner Billy is extremely rude... seems to me Billy must be training his employees to be just as rude as he is!

Wow! Overpriced & Rude is a poor way to be. The prices are far beyond what the same items go for on ebay or Amazon etc... Do a price comp and see, even w/ shipping I still get the same stuff for half the price or better! If you want to stay in town go to Rogue Toys in SE PDX, more stuff for alot less... And not Rude!

This store is unique. I have never seen a collection well put together like this and I have been to many stores. He has drawers of vintage games. This is a must stop for any collector if your in Portland. I seen the negative reviews on here and they are bogus. Im not affiliated with this store, Im just a collector.

Cool place, but I dont appreciate the attitude when I asked if I could take a comic out of the bag for closer inspection. Ae you guys serious with this? If I am a customer potentially wanting to buy a book I have every right to look at the damn thing before buying it. Any true collector would understand this.

Store has a lot of cool and interesting stuff on display, but none of it feels like its for sale. Its like the owner rented store space to show off his collection. I asked the owner questions about some comics he had for sale, but I got nowhere with trying to actually see them and talk about prices.

An amazing collection of vintage toys at decent prices. I drop a star because customer service there sucks. We were basically ignored; even when we were obviously ready to buy. Essentially they looked put out that we were there. Still, go for the product and not the service and youll be fine.

Do you need any Transformers, or other vintage toys? Billy Galaxy has them. The selection here is great, the pricing is fair, but except for shopping online, you arent going to find these toys. Seeing a figure in person is worth paying a little more. Knowing the exact condition is great.
