I paid $1500 for a platinum wedding band, waited a few hours for it to be sized, and picked it up. Awhile later I noticed that it slid off my finger a lot, so I took it back in to see what size it actually was. It turns out that the ring was sized almost a half size bigger than I had asked, so it needed to be resized again. I purchased the extended service plan (ESP) on the ring, so I just assumed it would cover anything that needed done in the future. Even though they have a lab in store (which is the whole reason I chose them in the first place), they said they had to order a whole new ring for some reason, and that they were going to *do me the favor* of transferring over my ESP to the new ring so that I didnt have to purchase a new plan for the new ring. Im not sure why this is doing me such a huge favor, being as how Id never used the plan before, it wasnt my decision to order an entire new ring, nor was it explained to me why the ring had to be replaced with a new one until after I was called to pick up the ring. Cut to weeks later, the ring is finished and I asked them (twice) if the ring was the same weight as the one I was exchanging it for. Yes, yes, both times I was told it would be the same weight. I come home, weigh it, and of course it is not the same weight. The ring went from .25oz to .2oz, which matters to me because its platinum, and I paid so much for it. I called the store, but was told that if you have smaller fingers, you will in fact be paying more for less platinum than you would if you had big fingers. You get more platinum if you are a bigger person, but you will pay the same regardless. They also clarified that I will have to purchase a new service plan every single time I want something done to the ring because their policy changed in the short, short time since I bought the plan. At some point, the manager just stopped speaking to me, so I had no choice but to say "thanks" and hang up. Now my service plan means nothing, essentially. Theres no reason for me to be in business with this place, I will return the ring tomorrow and go searching for a jeweler who can offer a ring honestly, and hold up their end of any service plans that I may purchase. Huge waste of my time and money.

Short Review: Treated horrible after i bought the item and their financing really dropped the ball. Strongly suggest shane co. over them. It all started off fine, just like any other jewlery store. When i walked in i was greeted right away and then directed to someone who knew more about the type of ring i was buying (wedding band for my husband). They were helpful. Bad thing is that the person who said hi to me is the one that got the commission on the sale, and while paying she wanted to sell me just about anything else. Very high pressure. Now for the really horrible experience. First they messed up on the date on the engraving. When i pointed this out, they said that i should have checked it when i picked it up, and that normally i would have to pay for it to be fixed, but they were going to be nice (why should i have to pay in the first place?) and do it for free. After that incident, a few months went by and i got a call from their finance departement that they didnt get my payment (which they had), and was going to charge me 40 bucks! 30 for late fees, and 10 for financing. I went to complain to them and they opened 10 minutes late (i could see them inside talking), and when i got in they at first didnt want to remove the charge. After i got angry about how they already had the check, but didnt cash it yet, they finally removed the charges. Either way both the lady that called me and the customer service were not very good. I personally shop at shane most of the time, and never have been treated this bad, and it isnt that much farther away. The reason to try it is that they seemed nice at first and were closer. I agree with the other person that it is better than fred meyers, but make the extra trip to shane, you will get much better service.

Ive been to Jared a few seperate times, and I must say they have been willing to give me some information which kicked off my research into looking for an engagement ring. On the flip side, each time I visited I felt like I was being pushed to give contact information to the salesperson who greeted me first, and was always offered the option to open up a "Jared Account" - basically a way to make monthly payments towards something that I didnt want. I completely believe in paying with cash, as to not put myself in a tough situation if anything were to happen down the road an if I werent able to make payments, yet it always seemed like multiple employees would agree that a Jared Account would be the best thing to do. I eventually came across Goldworks Design Manufacturers in the Tanasbourne area off of 185th, and was very happy with their service, and willingness to work with my situation. I ended up deciding to use an old family ring and took it in to Goldworks to do some work, and was very pleased with the results! The ring looks fantastic now, and my fiancee is proud to show everyone the newly restored/resized family ring. I would definitely recommend that anyone who steps into Jared go shop around, and see what you come up with. I prefer to shop local, and if you want a no-pressure experience, Id definitely recommend stopping by Goldworks Design Manufacturers!

Gorgeous jewelry at good prices. My life time warranty has paid for itself over and over with the unlimited re rodium plating for my white gold ring-makes it look like new again and always same day service! My friend with a ring from Kay jewelers has to wait up to three weeks for her ring to be sent off to receive any type of service. Im now a dedicated jared shopper since buying my husbands wedding band and my ring as well.

I got my wifes engagement right and wedding band and a matching 1st year wedding anniversary band and ALOT of other things including my 6 year anniversary watch and those people there never pressed me to spend money i didnt have. And they always explained things in very fine detail so i didnt buy something i didnt know about.

Went inside to look at engagement rings unsure on the cut of the diamond and was greeted with a smile and kindness. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and help me decide on all the answers I was looking for. Would recommend them to a friend.

my wife spent $70 to have her ring sized here. They kept insisting that the smaller size was the best and talked her into it. Now they wont resize it!! Not happy with their service.
