I am nervous about jewelers. About a year and a half ago, I took my engagement ring -- a ring I love more than any other possession I own -- to a jeweler that ended up damaging it. The jeweler then claimed that what hed done to my ring was necessary to "fix it" and I couldnt prove that that isnt what my ring looked like in the first place. After he returned the ring to its original state, I noticed so many flaws with it; it was so disappointing and I was nervous to take it anywhere else. Around 3 weeks ago, I noticed that the diamond in my ring was very, very loose. It is a suspended setting, which means there are no prongs holding the diamond in place, just metal. I knew I needed to take it somewhere, so on the recommendation of a friend, I took it to Beaudet Jewelry. I was very nervous to leave it, but they assured me it was in safe hands. After picking up my ring today, I am impressed with their work. My ring looks amazing and the diamond is set back to its original setting. It looks beautiful. They also corrected some errors by the original artist so that the diamond will stop getting wiggly after a few months. I did have an issue with the time it took for my ring. Three weeks is a very long time to wait for something like this (at least in my experience) and I felt like there was a lack of communication regarding the time. (As it turned out, there was a death in the family, which I am deeply sympathetic towards.) However, since the work on my ring was so exceptional, I can really forgive them for the delay! I worked with both Bree (I believe thats how you spell her name!) and Nicole throughout the process and they were friendly and receptive to my stress over my ring. They were incredibly professional and polite. I dont have enough good things to say about Beaudet and I plan to take my ring there in the future (with a better understanding of the time period it might take)!

I am a first time customer of Beaudet Jewelry and I could not be happier about my experience. I spent about 6 months shopping and nation-wide jewelers before visiting Beaudet Jewelers. The big name jewelry stores treated my questions as an inconvenience and pushed me to make a decision quickly. They did not know much about the diamonds they were selling and it seems like they would say anything to have me buy a ring that I was not satisfied with. When I first visited Beaudets I feared that because it was a local jeweler I would not be able to afford what I was looking for. I sat down with Sara and she explained what to look for in a diamond and provided me with a DVD how to buy a diamond. My girlfriend and I found a setting we liked and Sara informed me that it would take about 3 weeks to have the ring finished. I called her back later that day and told her I needed the ring done in a week in a half and they made special accommodations to make that happen. They ordered in several diamonds and I was able to pick out the one that I liked best. Ultimately, I got the exact ring that my fiance wanted and at the price that I wanted to spend. When comparing to the nation-wide jewelers I would have got a similar ring mounting but but I would have settled for a I1 diamond with a poor cut. At Beaudets I got a VS1 clarity diamond with the best cut possible. I am so glad that I decided to buy local at Beaudets because I got the best possible ring for my money. I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for jewelry and I will always go back there in the future.

Moral: Unless you want your jewelry broken and damaged, do NOT go here! I took a bracelet into the "jewelry" store to have two links removed. They held it overnight and when I returned I walked out to the parking lot. Where they "fixed" it, it broke! I took it back in and they "fixed" it again using another pin that they took out before. The next day I put the bracelet on and before I left the house, it just fell off. It broke in the same place! I took it into the store and talked to a lady that seemed to never had dealt with customer service. I had to tell her at least three times what should be done to correct this issue and her answer was that it was MY fault that I lost the holding pins, both in the parking lot and my house! She expected me to crawl around and find a mm metal pin!! I asked if I could talk to someone who could actually answer my questions and she made me come back a week later. After being in the store for the 5th time, they could not solve it and sent me down to a wonderful watch maker who fixed it and I have not had problems since! Moral: Unless you want your jewelry broken and damaged, do NOT go here!

If the customer below had a bad experience, it was certainly an anomaly and perhaps one of their own making. It appears from the writers own words that Beaudet Jewelry sent them to a local watch maker to fix the issue because it is likely the watchmaker had the pins that were needed to fix the bracelet the second time. I have always had impeccable service in my dealings with Beaudet Jewelry Design, and I have been shopping there for over 30 years. I have purchased new items, had items repaired, and had items designed and produced especially for me or members of my family. They always make an effort to ensure we are satisfied with their work, and they never disappoint. The staff is super friendly; and the proprietors, Charles and Georgiann Beaudet, have been in the jewelry business long enough to know just about everything you ever wanted to know about fine jewelry. In fact, Charles is a second-generation jeweler, highly recognized for his talents throughout the industry. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Beaudet Jewelry Design for your jewelry needs!

I sent my fiance in to get her ring appraised with great reviews from others but I did not get the same service. They quoted her the price and told her it would take two days on the phone. Then after paying they told her it would take two weeks. It now has been longer than two weeks. This piece needed to be insured as soon as possible after appraisal but we are still waiting on doing so because this company has not put out for us. Very dissapointing.

Beaudet Jewelry is the best! Chuck Beaudet is unparalleled in custom design work. I have many of his pieces, all which are exquisite show stoppers. The Beaudets and their employees turn themselves inside out for their customers and are always willing to go the extra mile to provide 1st class service...regardless of whether it is design of a new piece or repair of an old piece. I cant imagine going any place else.

I took my grandmothers ring to get fixed. All 4 prongs are different height, widths and lengths. One side has a huge chunk of gold missing out of it and the other side looks like someone laid two pieces of gold on top of each other and didnt blend them together. It looks like a Walmart quality job and Im devastated they ruined such an important piece of jewelry.
