Ive been using this store for 2 years now. I literally cant think of one instance where they have gotten it right. The former lumber manager helped some, but I get the feeling Im annoying him & now hes in garden... Nobody can seem to find the lumber manager today. We have a credit accout with them & they are the closest home improvement store, but I think we just need to switch to Lowes. Ive been on the phone for 45 minutes this morning simply to give someone in lumber a cut list so its organized when I get there. It took me that long just to get the cut list to someone who didnt want to pass me on to someone else or disconnect me. We bought a new SS kitchen set and the delivery guys ran into my front gates & didt tell me. They denied it but I have security cameras. HD outsources the delivery services & the guys were sketchy liars. HD still has not made this right. We bought $8k in lumber for some fencing- that too was a debacle... Now Im sitting in the lumber yard waiting for someone to appear with my lumber... With a broken back I could have had this done. Lastly, WTF is the deal with allowing people who buy one tiny thing to park in the lumber loading area?! Argh! I hate this place & need to find another place to spend my thousands of HARD EARNED dollars!!

The DMV has better customer service than this Home Depot. Ive been shopping locally at Home Depot my entire life. I have always chosen them over other large chain hardware stores. I will go to a competitor next time. This time I showed up about 45 minutes before closing time I only needed to buy washers, nuts, and anti seize. The first person I ran into lead me to the nuts and bolts section. Great customer service. However every person I spoke to directed me to the wrong aisle to find anti seize, while acting frustrated that I was interrupting their closing duties. I spent 10 minutes picking out my hardware in 35 minutes looking for anti seize but I never actually found. It is now 10 p.m. I wanted to finish my project tonight and I cant do it without anti seize. Due to Home Depots lack of customer service I will have to make another trip to a hardware store tomorrow. PS. Shutting down a self-checkout machine while a customer is using it is also considered bad customer service. Groaning out loud when that customer asks to turn it back on so they can finish checking out is considered very bad customer service.

The drive-in bay is an absolute nightmare. I drove in my truck as I needed to get some siding and some OSB. They were a little cars parked in there, people parked in the middle of the driveway unloading stuff, and the traffic was backed up out onto Johnson Creek Boulevard. There were several angry conversations with people that were blocking the drive lane. I figure that there will be fights in there if there has been already. It is really poorly laid out and poorly handled. Just finding a place to park so I can load up my supplies took me over 40 minutes. People seem to think that theyre the only people in the world. When I mentioned this to several Home Depot employees they just shrugged their shoulders and said that theyve talked to management about this numerous times and nothing ever gets done. I figure if you cant beat them join them. Now I park in there every time I go even if its just to get a couple pieces of sandpaper or some other small items. I figure if it gets really really bad Home Depot might do something about it, but Im not holding my breath.

Good experience I just moved to Clackamas and so far a lot of people have been rude, but when I came to this Home Depot looking for floor samples, the girl at the door (Christine L.) was very friendly enough to point me in the right direction of where they were and as my family and I were leaving she asked us if we found the samples. That is good customer service...going out of your way for your customers. My sister and I were really shocked and appreciated her. The lady who worked in the floor department was awesome as well. She was kind and pointed me in the right direction as well. Expressive employees since the store was very crowded. Nice job!

The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because of a young man named Noah. He made a very frustrating trip into a satisfying one. By allowing me to vent my frustrations of a very ill equipped associate who informed me he had 26 propane tanks that I had inquired about. But he would have to look for it & then proceeded to ask me if I still wanted it. This is at the very same time that I am purchasing a gas grill from him. How else am I going to use it. My impression was if I dont have to work to hard I can help you. But if I have to make an effort go somewhere else.... Noah came to my aid and save the day for my family. Thank you NOAH!!

-10 stars, is that possible? Found an item on their site, in Stock per Web site. Called about the item to verify. Hardware employee said not in Stock. I told him it said it was on the site. Gave him the sku and he put me on hold this time. Comes back. yes it is. Said he would hold it for me. Went to pick it up same day and wasnt at the service desk. Associate at desk was rude as can be. Told me to find it myself. Will never go to this home depot again. Stick to lowes. Wish I would have got names of the employees. I was pretty heated working in CS myself.

I will never come here again. Came to home depot to help my grandma pick up supplies to work on her home. We were told there would be someone to help us with our order in the lumber department. We gave our receipt to a young man and he said he would grab our order for us. It has taken over an hour and we are still waiting for our short list of items to be pulled. I would do it myself but I have a baby and my grandma simply cannot lift that much. I wont ever be coming back here. Everyone we ran into or asked for assistance was rude. Very disappointed

I have even talkd to the GENERAL MANAGER(nice lady) but some rude people. Called there today to find out how much 2 cycle oil to mix with gas for weed whacker and the guy told me to go on line and find out!!! Went there 2 months ago and asked for special flooring (for Garage) and the sales person said they dont have it and go check out Lows. I was upset and bought it from Lows. Went there about a year ago to ask about landscaping and the lady didnt know anything about the products. Is it my luck or is it poor management? Ill never shop there again.

No bicycle parking at this location. You have to lock to a signpost in the parking lot or down in front of the pet store. The guys I asked about it seemed to find it a brand new idea they had never considered before, and indicated that nobody rode their bike to the store. I did, because I needed some carpet tacks. The Mall 205 location has a bike rack right outside the front door and that is where I will be biking to in the future. It would be nice to see the 82nd street location get in step with the city - #1 bicycling city in America.
