My experience is with Michael in sales and Brian in management. I live in Redmond and have been looking for a truck for quite awhile. Trucks over here go fast and I have been looking in the Willamette Valley for something. I spoke with multiple dealerships and would either never get called back, or the truck was already gone but they would have others if "you just need to drive over to look." I did not want to make the trip to these other dealers HOPING something would be there. Bickmore had four trucks that were in the price range I was looking at and I called Michael on a Friday to inquire about them. He said that the trucks were still there but did say that there were still a few hours left in the day and anything could happen. He told me to call in the morning to make sure things were still there before I headed over and didnt pull the "just come on over and well work something out" crap. I headed over Saturday morning and met Michael to view the trucks. There was no pressure for sales, he asked which ones I liked better and I narrowed it down to one. No pressure on the test drive, he told me to take the time I needed (within reason) and see how the truck drove. I settled on the truck and we worked through the details of my trade-in and the financing for the vehicle. My credit was excellent so aside from waiting for a little bit to hear back from the banks, the rate and finance process was great. Michael was very accommodating (I had my three year old son with me) and we had soda and water anytime we needed it. When it came down to finalize the deal, we were farther apart than what I wanted and to make a long story short; Brian came in and the deal was done to my satisfaction. Both guys never pressured me to buy; they were straight up with the numbers and I was straight up with where I needed to be. The 3 month/3,000 mile warranty is great touch that they throw in that you dont have to pay for. I know one reviewer was upset over the vehicle blowing an engine but the reality is that you are buying a used car/truck and most dealers dont offer ANY warranty unless you pay for it. I know that I bought a used vehicle and that I dont know how the previous owner may have treated it. Thats the chance you take when you buy used. Stuff breaks sometimes and you have to be prepared to fix things. We purchased a car for my son last winter from a different dealer and were completely out of luck when the head gasket blew on that one because that dealer didnt offer a warranty unless I paid for it. This was the very first time I had ever visited Bickmore and when it comes time for my son to purchase a car, we will go back. I dont work for Bickmore and had never met either of these two guys before Saturday. Great Experience and Thanks for the 2001 Chevy Silverado!

Bought a used Ford Focus for $2200 out the door. I simply wanted a daily driver to take me to and from work. The car didnt start when I arrived on the lot to Brians surprise. However, he assured me the car ran fine and it was because the lights were left on prior to my coming to check the car out. I should have ran then, shame on me for not doing so. The car came with a warranty which I figured would cover any major repairs needed (the warranty company is great to deal with by the way, its a shame they do business with Bickmore because its costing them money). Sure enough, the very next day the car didnt start at all. I drove the car back up to the lot less than 24 hours after signing on the dotted line. They did replace the battery at no charge (as they should have, since they sold me a non-functional vehicle that crapped out less than a day after buying it). Fast forward two weeks later and the car starts stalling on the highway. I take it to a mechanic in Salem which replaces the transmission THREE TIMES before realizing the people who sold Bickmore the car had SUPER GLUED parts of the engine together causing the transmission to slip and eventually fail every time. At this point the $1,500 warranty cap had long been used up and I ended up paying an additional $800 to get the car working again. The mechanic warned me the car was a time bomb and would leave me stranded at any time. I couldnt in good conscience sell this vehicle to someone else so the dealership I ended up buying a functional car from gave me $200 for it. Ugh. Im writing this review to help you the reader since, like you, I scoured the reviews on this place thinking they knew what they were doing after seeing some of the great reviews. Bickmore doesnt check the vehicles they sell thoroughly at all (Brian said the car had a power steering issue... I knew immediately from the sound and later confirmed it was a wheel bearing issue, had nothing to do with the power steering). They had no clue about the super glued engine and it cost me dearly. Please dont let my $3,000 mistake be a waste. Learn from my mistake.... avoid this place at all costs.

I went to Bickmore to find my wife a truck. I test drove a few trucks and settled on a Nissan Frontier. The deal looked like it was going to go through, so I told my son to take my other car and drive home, as I was finishing up the paper work, I was told by the salesman that I had to purchase this theft insurance for the Truck or the deal would not go through, I was tired and had no other ride home. I signed all the papers got home, drove the truck on our 30 year anniversary and going down the highway the gas throttle gets stuck while on cruise control Im pressing down on the brake and the truck keeps pulling us closer to other cars at 65 miles per hours, we our starting to panic a little as the truck throttle is full out stuck on I kept pushing on the break and move the truck to the slow lane put it in neutral and shut the engine off and finally got it to stop without hitting anyone or hurting my wife and I. So I call the salesman Kent and explain what happen, he said if it happens again bring it back we will look at it for you. Then I discuss this 1,500 theft insurance he had in my financing I told him the truck is 124% over book price. Then I said I dont want theft insurance I want to cancel the policy and give the money to the credit union. The salesman Kent says I dont think you can cancel the policy, I will talk to my manager and get back to you. I got a phone call back and he said I cant cancel the policy. I told the salesman Kent I dont need theft insurance to the tune of 1,500 dollars I need Gap insurance since I was charged this extra insurance I dont need. I have placed a complaint in with the Credit Union and feel optional theft insurance should be refundable, Bickmore Buyers beware the insurance name is AAGI, inc. it is called "Vehicle Theft Protection Program" My Credit Union contact person Jay says he does not think this type of business practice is correct. I will talk with the credit union more about this business of Bickmore Auto and Im going to call AAGI, inc. Direct and see what they say. Hope I can get this resolved I only had this truck two weeks.
