First of all, this review is for the thrift store, not the organization. St. Vinnies is an amazing organization that helps tons of people. However, their thrift stores are WAY overpriced, to the point of me NOT ever shopping there again. Thrift stores are intended to be 2nd hand stores offering great deals on used merchandise, however they have morphed into close-to-retail pricing stores, and in some cases, are MORE THAN RETAIL!!!!!!! How can this exist? Thrift stores are for poor people, but poor people cant even afford to shop there any more, what a shame!!!! They are NOTORIOUS for charging more at the register, and in that case, I leave it there. The LAST GOOD DEAL they had was 50 cents for a coloring book. So, I pull 3 coloring books from the magazine/coloring book section, only to get to the register and have the power trip lady ringing it up tell me, that NO!!!!! certain coloring books are $1.50, even though they werent marked that. So I left them on the counter, along with an overpriced pair of kids shoes, and I NEVER went back, and I will never go back. I get so sick of seeing a garage sale sticker on something, only to see the "thrift" price next to from the store, that is 10 times higher!!! Yes!!! 10 times!!!! $5 stickers right next to a 50 cent yard sale sticker, at least pull the yard sale sticker off!!!!!! GEEZ!!!!!!! I do still go to St. Vinnies for one thing......DONATIONS!!! I still truly believe that they do the most good for the community, but their store prices are ridiculously high!!!!! and changing prices at the register is just plain SHADY!!!!

This is a boutique St Vinnies, but they are ridiculous with their pricing. They find a nice pair of shoes and instead of putting them on the rack, they put them behind a glass case, ask hundreds of dollars for them, and to top it off they use packing tape to adhere the price across the top of the shoe so that when you peel the packing tape off it damages the shoe. On top of that, sometimes when Ive gone to buy something that Ive found on the regular racks, they tell me "oh, this was supposed to be on the special rack" and then proceed to double the price on me...right at the register! And then when I point out to them that it isnt my fault it was in the wrong place, they practically accuse me of having ripped off the original price tag! (In other words, calling me a thief!) And to top it all off, you get some really shady people in this store. I once had a crazy homeless woman just start cursing at me and my two small children. The employees did nothing until I pointed out to them that "Hey...you know...that isnt cool...and do you perhaps think you could do something?" Stay away from this place unless you want to get ripped off, accused of being a thief, and/or like being harassed by homeless people.

This place sucks. I went in to ask for change for the parking meter ( I was parked in the first space right in front of the main door). The super snotty sales woman told me they dont do that for customers and only give change back when you buy something. She was SO RUDE! This store is such a waste of time, I will never try going back. I wouldnt give this store even 1/2 a star except the review app required one in order to post.

This is a place to go when you are bored. Youll find something inexpensive but high quality clothing. Used and new. Therapy without buyers remorse or guilt and youre helping the community.

All of the best items donated come here. Downside is they dont seem to have air conditioning... It gets really hot in there surrounded by all that stuff.
