I find it very sad that Goodwill industries recieve everything they sell for free from donations. But yet there prices are so high that the less fortunate cant even afford to get a warm coat or clean clothes or a good pair of shoes/ Boots for themselves or there child. Why dont they do like a free clothing day/ with all the Items they recieve they could surly help the homeless in need or that Mother who is single with small children. Maybe the CEO could think about this the next time he goes home to that big beautiful home he and his family live in, all provided by the community for free ?. I live in N Albany and refuse to give anymore of my donations to Goodwill. I donate to other facilitys in the Albany area, that do try to give to Men, Woman and children with different programs. If Safehaven can do a free day for your Animal we can surly help our less fortunate. Just sayin.

This store has nice things but the staff is terribly rude throughout the whole store. They also dont have a system of how to price items. Three books I had, all originally sold for 14$ exactly were three different prices in the store. When I asked if I could have them all for one same price, not even the lowest price, just the same the rude cashier rolled her eyes at me and called several people over to ask their opinion. Shouldnt the store have pricing guidlines? And as a paying customer do I really deserve the snotty attitude? Im shopping at the good will, that means every cent I have counts and Id rather not waste it because I was to afraid to ask the disgruntled employees.

After 10 min looking for some help i ask a associate to help me and he just said i cant help you a we are close. So i said ok i understand but can you just help me with a simple question. And yet still he said sorry i cannot help you like i told you we are close. My reply was so you are kicking me out. And an other associate step in and said YES thats exactly what are we are doind and thats what we supposed to do. There are other ways to ask a costumer to leave.

My husband and I were shopping there and seen a pack of butt connectors that cost more than they do in Fred Meyer brand new and next to it was a huge vinyl Adidas sign that was about 3 foot by 15 foot for $4.99 you tell me. this place prices are stupid all their stuff is donated and they cant even price things correctly or affordably come on

Ive found that Goodwill stores in general, and even more so in smaller towns where theres only one store, tend to have better things than any other 2nd-hand stores. This one is great if youre looking for OSU or U of O apparel, also if you need rugged work clothing.

I love this Goodwill. I always find treasures. The staff is always friendly. The store is always clean and well maintained. Ive been in Goodwill stores where it wasnt clean, neat and orderly. This isnt one of those. The bathrooms are always clean too!

The Goodwill in Albany keeps merchandise constantly moving. Good quality, lots of brand names and new with original tags still attached. The pricing seems to be going higher faster than ever before.
