We had an absolutely wonderful experience at H2O...and I mean wonder-ful!!!! The people were extremely friendly and helpful and bent over backwards to be of assistance. It was like taking a step into the largest bazaar on the planet! The main floor is HUGE with rooms and nooks everywhere, neatly organized with just about anything you might need or want. The bathrooms are clean and bright...better than some restaurants! The basement is open to the public once a month and it is still under discussion what day, but the wait is worth it. We found this terrific non-profit thrift store on Craigslist and drove from the coast to check it out...and boy, are we ever glad we did! The basement is chockful of goodies at DEEP, and I mean DEEP discounts...and they are all organized better than most stores. The kitchenware department alone made our jaws drop! It is better than a restaurant supply place...we found everything we were looking for at rock bottom prices...and it seemed there was someone there to help. One gentleman was so helpful and kind we almost wanted to take him home with us :-). We spent over an hour just going through items there and had to stop ourselves from buying more because even having driven a truck there, we had to restrain ourselves... We went back upstairs and browsed through the "regularly priced goods"...it was almost like being in a dream...They have book sections on the main floor (a separate room) and upstairs on the second floor, where the books line the shelves for miles :-). One of the friendly volunteer ladies told us that they decided to put all the cookbooks on the main floor so that all the elderly ladies wouldnt have to climb the stairs...brought a tear to my eye, honest. I wanted to hug her. The main floor goes on for miles, with rooms of tools, appliance departments, dishware, everything organized neatly. They even have an outdoor department with gardening items and outdoor furniture and tools etc. Two hours later we made our way upstairs to the furniture and sports department...another wonderful surprise. As I said before, books line all the walls...they even have two rooms dedicated to Christmas goodies!!!! I can go on and on, but will stop now and recommend H20 very HIGHLY to everybody. This "Thrift Store" is " head and shoulders above the crowd" and is there not just doing good works and is non-profit, but is filled with good deals and also with amazingly dedicated, generous, kind people. The best Ive ever seen. You have to give it a try and also give to a great cause, while getting great deals. Anna & David Eger

Ive shopped at H20 for 2.5 years. Today (after my wife and I had selected a cabinet to purchase) I was followed room to room by the lady apparently in charge (who I have purchased many items from in the past) approached and asked if I was concealing something under my jacket. After opening my jacket to reveal nothing was there I gathered my wife explaining the situation and that we wouldnt be spending money there. Once out at the car we instructed the man who had just brought the cabinet out that we were not purchasing it. Just then a voice over his handheld radio said I was kicked out. (funny, I left the store on my own accord yet they said I was kicked out) My wife returned to the store and confronted the staff that accused me of stealing who laughed about it saying to another staff member "I guess well have to close the store now". Im glad my wife gave them a piece of her mind. This complete disregard for customer service and appreciation is exactly why we will NEVER do business with H20 again.

All and all Great little thrift shop. But had some troubles with one of the accountants. I had bought a really nice sectional couch from them and had discussed with the accountant how I wasnt going to be able to pick it up that day and that I would come back and get it within the 60 day period. Well it turns out they had re-sold the couch within the 60 days and refused to give me a refund!!! Instead they gave me an in-store credit. I mean dont get me wrong that is great that they were willing to do that but come on! with the money I paid for the couch would have been nice to get back and spend towards another couch somewhere else!! Very disappointed in the way they treated the whole situation. This place is supposed to help people, not bring them down.

MASSIVE SELECTION! Went on a roadtrip to hit thrifties in the hinterland and shouldve started here. Upside, they have 20 of everything! Monster selection crammed in 2 floors of goods. Exhausting! Down side, smells like the half-rotten food they give away and I shouldve worn a miner helmet because they dont have lights on.

Not too good. After shopping in their basement that was not blocked off, I was refused my entire purchase at the register and then harshly accused of ignoring signs posted-like it was all my fault. I was a large donater, but no more! I will never purchase, donate, or reccommend H20 anyone ever again! Terrible!

This place does wonderful things for those that need it the most. If you have medical equipment needs such as wheelchair, walker, etc, They have it for you to rent at no cost. They are awesome.
