I went in here a week ago wanting to get my starter replace. Initially, we were going to replace the starter ourselves with a starter bought from Autozone for $120, but it looked difficult, so we decided to see how much this place would charge. We went in and they told us the cheapest the starter alone would be is $220. Then they said they would charge us for EIGHT hours of labor. First, obviously they should have been able to find a starter for $120 since we did. Second, my husband and I (no car mechanic experience) were able to replace the in four hours after just watching youtube videos AND our car was running perfectly after this. Dont come here unless you want to be overcharged completely and ripped off.

Kens Car Care has been my mechanic of choice for about two years now. They are friendly, efficient, and honest with me about what is right for my car. I go to them for my oil changes regularly and they are always on top of what I need to do (if anything) to keep my car running smoothly. I know I can trust them and I know Im getting my car worked on by knowledgeable, experienced people. They are also always more than happy to explain why and how things work in terms of what is needing to be done to my car, which I greatly appreciate because Im a naturally curious person and I also like to know where my money is going. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic.

The check engine light had come on in my car and I was planning on going on a short camping trip in a few days. I needed to get this checked out quickly and any problems resolved before driving 5 hours to my destination. I called Kens Car Care Center and they squeezed me in around some of their other appointments. After getting the information from the cars computer and looking at a couple of likely causes they went with the the quickest and cheapest solution. They fixed the problem and I was able to keep my plans. I appreciate Ken and his staff for their professionalism and courtesy in helping me get back on the road as quickly as possible. Finding a good honest mechanic is hard. I was lucky enough a friend recommended Kens Car Care Center to my wife and I. Ive been a customer of Kens Care Care since they opened. For over 15 years they have provided excellent repairs and maintenance to my cars and personalized service. No business is perfect, but should be judged on how they resolve issues when they occur. In 15 years my wife and I only had two very minor issues with the repairs done on our two cars and both were fixed quickly to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them and would give more than five stars if I could!

09 Subaru WRX-Air Conditioning. Ken was very helpful in getting my issue resolved so I could get my car into his shop and serviced. Not only did they get my car right in (that morning), they also got the job done in the time quoted. Its nice to have a business that isnt afraid to work with someone over the phone for a minute so as facilitate a repair. Thank you Ken. Ive been going to Kens Car Care Center for many, many years. They helped me keep my 17 year old car running so I could delay purchasing a new car until I was financially able to do so. Recently I was in the process of buying a new car and they were even willing to offer me advice to be sure I was getting a solid dependable car. I wont be seeing them as often since I now have a new car but they are still my first choice for everything from an oil change to more extensive service!

Honestly these guys rule. Ive come to them 3 or 4 times and they always treat me right. Theyre happy to explain what is wrong and what theyre doing to fix it, and their shuttle service is immensely helpful. Recently we had a wrong diagnosis and a repair that didnt fix my issue, so they waived the cost of repair for the actual fix to make sure I felt valued and would return. Consider me constantly impressed, Ill be referring people to Kens (and specifically John) for years to come.

I walked in with a leaking radiator, and the following day I walked away with a brand new one installed. Great service, they were able to help me without setting an appointment, and gave me a good explanation on the repair and price prior to anything beyond an inspection. Never had a better mechanic. They are thorough, make good suggestions and do whats needed. I take both my Scion and the big Titan to Kens. Couldnt be more different cars but they do a great job on both. A thing I really like about Kens is they will take the time to explain whats going on in understandable language. Go to Kens youll be glad you did.

I contacted Arick at Kens Auto Care for AC issues with my 2008 civic si. The compressor clutch wasnt engaging so I thought it was going to need a new compressor, but ended up being low freon and a bad relay. If youre looking for trustworthy and friendly service I would recommend going to them.

I was driving across the country and 2000 miles away from home when one of the wheel bearings on my Cadillac became very noisy. These guys took my car in and had me back on the road in the same day for a very reasonable price. They are courteous, professional, and very honest. Great shop!!
