I am half a year late writing this, but better late than never! Last November my husband and I had our sole car stolen and needed a quick replacement. We had talked casually about getting a hatchback for a while anyway, so when I saw the Kia Spectra5 hatchback online at G&J in a beautiful copper orange (my husband is a student at OSU) in the price and mileage range we needed, I stopped by to find out more and test drive it. I also test drove a Civic hybrid he had available that I found interesting, which ended up serving as the comparison that cemented my love for the Kia. Because my husband was out of town on an internship, this turned into my first solo car buying experience, and I was a little nervous about the process. Dennis was amazingly respectful, straightforward, and helpful. He gave me as much information as he could, answered all my questions to the best of his ability, and never once pressured me about any decision in the process, even when he made a personal recommendation based on his own lengthy experience in the business. He let me know up front about a leak in the cars back window, and did everything needed to fix it prior to sale with no extra cost to me. He even lent me his company van when he needed to keep the car for a few days to finish the repair so I would not have to keep paying for a rental car to get to work. After the sale he followed up with several messages checking that everything was still going well and making it clear he was always available to help with any problems that might arise. Six months later, the car is running great and I am still in love with it. If I find myself in need of another car and I am still living in the state, I will absolutely come back here first, and I highly recommend G and J to anyone interested in both a quality vehicle and purchasing experience.

Was trying to find a Van that would move one of our tigers from Oregon to California. I needed this Van as we had an emergency problem that needed to be handled right away time meant either losing this tiger or possible saving his life. We found the Van at G and Js I was so happy to find exactly what I was looking for. They even delivered it for us and of course wanted to see the rest of the kitties however, upon driving into my drive way something went horribly wrong. The driver said I hear something wrong with the motor its knocking. he said he hoped it is nothing serious but.... later when we drove it the knocking got worse. I called Gand J and thought GREAT ANOTHER LEAMON! But was I surprised how they handled it. Dennis owner of G and J not only had it towed to mock Ford in Grants Pass from my drive way but, upon finding out what was wrong with the Van put a brand new motor in it at HIS COST and.... drove me a replacement VAN to my door in the event we needed to move the tiger that evening. He loaned me this VAN until the one I purchased was ready. I cried with the kindness of another human being that went above and beyond the call of duty . He was as concerned about us having this vehicle as we were. I have never been so amazed. It showed me that GOD still works in his children on this earth. I was so relieved to have a replacement vehicle . Dennis called me to keep in touch just to see how the progress was coming with the tiger while we waited for our van to be fixed. WOW AMAZING EXPERIENCE! If I buy another vehicle it will be thru G and J . Thank you again Dennis you are awesome ...Tiger Preservation Center ...All kitties sending their love .....come visit us soon. Bonnie...

About a month ago I decided to buy my first car. Though Id never purchased a car, I had gone along with several friends while they bought a car. My experience with car salespeople was so negative that I was pretty sure I would not buy a car from a dealership. However, I stopped by G&J on a whim and ended up buying a 2007 Kia Spectra. Working with Dennis was amazing and completely counter to all of my terrible experiences. Dennis was straight-forward, helpful and honest. I never felt taken advantage of and truly felt that Dennis was trying to get me the best possible deal. He helped me get financing through a local credit union which was really important to me. I had been struggling to get financed through Wells Fargo who had been nothing but difficult to work with. Dennis made the process of getting financed less frightening and explained each step carefully so that I would be completely informed of everything. He didnt sugar-coat anything and was clear about both the good stuff (I would be able to get financed) and the bad (my credit score was a bit low so my interest might not be ideal). Besides helping me find a car that fit exactly what I was looking for, G&J also gave me a book of coupons and Im glad that if I need any service I have a small, local, ethical company to go to. To really put the icing on the cake, G&J sent me a card today that thanked me for my business. The card also contained a coupon for a free oil change along with a box of cookies. Seriously. What kind of dealership sends you cookies?? G&J thats who. Thanks G&J!

I have to be honest, Im pissed. I THOUGHT I had an excellent experience. I bought a used Volvo outright, and despite it missing a key and having some obvious vanity issues, I thought I got a good deal. I wasnt able to get the price down, but since it was such a pleasant experience I didnt mind much. We flat out asked if it had been in any accidents and how many owners it has had. We were told, there were not any accidents and there was only 1 previous owner. Since the purchasing, we have had 2 significant issues with it that required work. I expected this as it was a high mileage car. Neither issue was covered by the additional insurance we purchased for the car. We decided to trade in the Volvo and were in for quite a surprise. After we purchase our new vehicle our salesman asked us if we wanted to review the Carfax. Low and behold, there were MANY additional owners that were not disclosed to use as well as a MAJOR accident. Lesson learned, pull your own Carfax on a used vehicle, but also beware of what they are telling you - I dont see how G and J could have missed that. They either were totally clueless or lied to my face.

I gotta give these guys credit for doing a good job. I bought my car there a couple years ago, and I bought this service plan called VIP that was NOT worth the money I paid for it. Turned out that I paid $695 for the plan (plus interest because it was financed along with my car) and all I got was like 8 oil changes. I went in to talk to them about it, said I dont wanna pay all this and get nothing... and they did make it right. Actually they did a really good job. They did a transmission flush and the related work (including some parts and supplies), changed my oil one more time, and found a couple things to fix under warranty, and I didnt actually have to pay anything. They fixed up my car pretty good, and I just drove about 5000 miles this month, all the way to New Jersey and quite a few places in between. And my car has been running great and the gas mileage is really good. So at this point Im really happy with these guys.
