This is the WORST Pharmacy Ive ever been to! It doesnt even deserve one star, but one has to be clicked in order to post. If the script you need filled generates a message saying there is a problem, instead of calling your insurance and working it out, Walgreen will tell you the script isnt covered by your insurance (which was NOT true!) If a script is harder to fill than the usual, and requires a little work on their part, WG will say they "cant fill" the script. They dont try to help while a person is there at the counter - theyll give the prescription back to you. Then you can go home, call your insurance, and find out what it is that WALGREEN SHOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU - which they should have already known. This has happened twice in 3 months. Once we were also charged $20 extra for "the form the medicine comes in from us". What? P.S. When dropping off a script to be filled, everyone has to stand in one line and wait & wait behind all those picking up pills, just to hand a script to a pharmacist & leave.

I wanted to leave a review for this Walgreens photo area. I ordered +200 prints online to be picked at this store later in the day. I had been struggling to get the photo to fit just right and apparently I hadnt. Not even 10 minutes after ordering these photos I received a call from this store asking if I realized that there was about 0.5 inches of white space on side of the print. They graciously cancelled my order and showed me a different way to set up my prints. Thank you for helping me fix my issue! I recommend taking your pictures here because of their friendliness and willingness to help.

Every single time I need to refill my prescription, it takes at least 30 minutes just to TELL THEM. Over the phone, it takes upwards of an hour because they never pick up the phone. They also never actually have the medicine ready when I get there to pick it up even if I called the prescription in days ahead. Pathetic service. When youre managing someones medicine, you need to run a tighter ship. Not having access to their medicine could kill someone.

I dont know who trained the people that work at this store but they need to do something about the costumer service. I understand our issue was with insurance, but a helpful attitude goes a long way when your dealing with people who may have spent their entire day in the emergency room and are in pain trying to get their medications to go home. Even if you cant help...be helpful.

The pharmacy is full of staff that seem completely unaware of how slow they are. Theyre more interested in joking around with each other than trying to speed up the drawn out process of counting some pills and putting them in a bottle. Definitely never coming back.

Have recently moved to the area, and have used their store only three times for prescriptions. Each of the 3 times the counter staff have been abrasive and there has been a problem with the prescription causing long delay periods. Not going back.

I consistently wait in the pharmacy drive-thru line for 15-20 minutes even with just one car in front of me. I always have hope that I will get right thru and not waste my entire lunch break but every time I am frustrated and irritated.

Pricy (just like any other Walgreens I suppose), but make sure to sign up for their reward card to get awesome discounts. Amazing customer service in the store, though not as great customer service in the pharmacy.

I really like the hours that they are open. I use to go go target pharmacy but they close early and on Sundays open late.. I like the drive thru at Walgreens which is convenient when you dont feel good.

I love this store in Albany, the sales clerks are so friendly and helpful, they have just about everything you need. Very clean and helpful. They open early and close late. What more could you ask for?

Pharmacy doesnt run well at all. Staff are extremely rude and could care less about you. Every time I have to come in they have some kind of an issue. Very dissapointed in the service given here.
