I first stepped foot into Fleet Feet a year ago to begin my journey to train for a 5K. I have originally hated running and was trying to pick up and enjoy it more. I was doing so before hand but kept having issues with shin splints and sore legs while training. My sister recommended I get fit for running shoes since she had the same issues and got fit at a place in OKC. I walked in having no idea what I was walking into or what to expect. There was an overwhelming variety of shoes and products everywhere. I was greeted by Mallory who was kind and put me on the treadmill to assess my stride. She explained how it worked and described what my stride was doing. She then brought out 3 different shoes which I tried a different brand on each foot to compare and contrast. I eventually came down between Saucony and Brooks and went with the Saucony. After receiving the shoes I tried them out the next day. I felt awkward at first since they were to help with my flat arch. After a few days or so I began to notice a difference when on the treadmill. My shin splints and leg pain had all but dissipated and it felt good to do interval training. This shoes got me through a year but without completing a 5K (nursing school took up my time). Fast forward to this year, I decided it was time to invest in a new pair of shoes since I noticed mine were getting a little worn and the pain was slightly returning. I returned once again to this location (now they are building in BA which is way closer and making me happy!) to purchase. I was looking forward to putting on another pair of Saucony shoes but was also presented the option of the Brooks Adrenaline. I ended up picking the Brooks and they are so worth the price! I trained some more in these (and actually love them way more and will purchasing Brooks again in the future) and ran my first 5K this weekend at the Route 66. I know this review is probably too long but I wanted to share my experience as a first time Fleet Feet customer and beginner runner. Ive read another review how a customer was talking about how they felt discriminated against here because of their weight. I honestly never felt that at all when I was there and I was overweight when I bought my first pair of shoes. Thanks to them theyve helped me get back on track to a healthy lifestyle and now I cant wait to lace up my shoes and get out for a run. Thanks Fleet Feet!

I am new to running, and being over ambitious!! Which caused a foot injury, however the staff at Fleet Feet were all very knowledgeable and more than willing to give advice on how to improve my goals. I never felt that I was being judged (and I am overweight, hence the running). Often when you go into "sports" stores being overweight you just feel the nervousness and look, but never here, they are so encouraging and it has really been helpful to me to maintain my running even when I feel I cant go on. And the shoes.. fixed all my problems with my foot. They arent kidding when they say to invest in a good pair of running shoes! And Fleet Feet helped me get into them and get moving!

Im a customer, not an employee. I have bought 2 pairs of shoes and lots of accessories from Fleet Feet. I have never had a bad experience and found the employees to be friendly and helpful. I also did their Marathon training in the Spring of 2011 which I really enjoyed. If you like running with a group this is a bargain. At that time it cost $85. It lasts 16 weeks. Fleet feet puts a lot of work into the training schedule, routes, hydration stops etc for this program. You also get a shirt, some socks, and some other swag.

Wonderful Asset to Tulsas growing Running Community!!... Fleet Feet: A place that I can get real answers when it comes to all things "running" since these people are runners themselves. I am ALWAYS greeted right when I walk in...the employees are very friendly and they care about me as a person, not just as someone coming there to spend money. It is a place that I am happy to refer to friends and family whenever I get an opportunity. Definitely the "only place to go"...

I would give a 0 star if possible. I stood in the middle of the store waiting for someone to greet or help me. 2 employees helping 1 pwrson at register. 3 employees on the floor. 2 had clients. Not sure what the 3rd was doing. After 2 employees walked by me, turning their heads to avoid eye contact, I finally left. I guess my purchase for 3 people doesnt matter much to this store.

I also couldnt disagree more with the earlier comment. Fleet Feet is much more than a shoe store. Their impact on the fitness/running community in Tulsa is tremendous. I began running 5 years ago and without Fleet Feet I wouldnt have been able to have done numerous 5 & 10ks, 1/2 half marathons and 10+ full marathons. They are the best "hands down".

Couldnt disagree more with the review below. Over the years, Fleet Feet has provided the customer service and expertise I have been unable to get anywhere else. The people are tremendous and if you are looking for running gear, training programs or advice on fitness, its the only place to go in my opinion.

Fleet feet offers an amazing shoe buying experience. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. If youve never walked into a Fleet Feet store, I strongly recommend visiting before buying your next walking/running shoe.

I came in the other day to buy shoes and Craig helped me and he was so great! I sure hope your company takes really good care of him so that in years to come I can buy more shoes from him for me and my growing family!

I walked in with " foot pain issues". Olga was very patient and professional. I walked out with a more comfortable shoe while I deal with those issues and a new ally in the fitness arena...Thanks again Olga!!!

Ive been to a lot of running stores and bought a lot of shoes. This place is full of stuck up people. They are also tacky when it comes to keeping good running relationships throug out Tulsa. Dont shop here.

Great staff! They must all be runners since they are so knowledgeable. The owners obviously care about the local running community because of their involvement. I will gladly shop their store again.
