My experience was great! Our 5 yr old son has a level 1 chiari deformation of his cerebellum. I went in looking for a bike helmet that would come down lower on the back of his head than your normal helmet. A gentlemen assisted me and recommended a skateboarding helmet, after comparing the depth of this helmet with bike helmets I purchased it. My checkout experience was amazing...you see cashier Cameron rang up my items, and this young man is inspiring. His love for life, determination to succeed and love of God was exactly what I needed during my quick lunch break shopping trip. I hope the management of this store reads this and recognizes what an amazing asset they have in this young man! Camron..thank you for being my cashier yesterday and keep up the amazing job!!

Gun shop is full of idiots and that is a dangerous thing. One of the salesman was walking around with a stuffed rattlesnake and shaking his key like that was supposed to scare people. This same schmuck was also trying to simulate a 12 gauge shotgun recoil on a customer and about knocked the 60yr old woman over. WTF??

My experience in attempting to get a phone number for SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS was terrible. I received the phone number for Iowa, which is really not helpful when attempting to call someone in the SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS Scheels. Think Ill try Dicks...

Disappointed. You would think the store would post whether they are open or not on Easter and other holidays rather than putting up the ambiguous statement that store hours may be affected by holidays.

Wide variety of sports gear to select from. Pretty knowledgeable, helpful staff to meet your needs as well. Dont be surprised by the prices, though. Most items are top-dollar brand

Very helpful staff. A floor manager personally assisted me in selecting the appropriate weather gear I needed. The only downside is the prices, they are a little high.
