I went in with my friend because she didnt want to be alone to get her tattoo. We really enjoyed the guy who she was assigned to; he was funny and comforting considering it was her first tattoo. He also did a really good job and although it wasnt large, he finished it in under an hour. Aside from our experience in his area, the ladies (or lady) at the front counter was extremely rude and not very helpful. We were told the day we scheduled that it costs $60 an hour, however once she finished her tattoo, she said it was going to be $80, on top of our $20 tip for the artist. When I asked her why it was more than the original quote, she gave me a lot of attitude and then completely ignored us. I left feeling like it was a negative experience, however before we got to the counter at the end of our session, it was a great experience. I would go again if I wanted a tattoo, but next time I or anyone gets a quote from the chick at the front desk, I would ask for the quote in writing because apparently it was a "set price" that we were originally told. Again, aside from Miss Dreadlocks at the front counter with her attitude, we were very much impressed with the work from the artist, his energy, and the cleanliness of the shop. It was overall a nice experience and I would suggest this shop to others!

Cant speak for the other tattoo artists at this studio, but whatever you do, avoid Doyle Wright. He is a hack. Went in for "Beware of Dog" tattoo. Doyle Wright somehow managed to misspell the word "OF" with "OE". Said hed take care of it by inking over it with a flesh colored ink. But only if and when I scheduled a time that was convenient for him to come in. I did that twice, and it didnt work. I asked for a refund and maybe for him to pay for a bit of tattoo removal, and he yelled at me and said he wasnt going to pay it. Tried to talk to owner, never called me back. No refund for a messed-up tattoo, no attempt to make it right by paying for tattoo removal. Paid myself to get it fixed with laser removal, making my botched tattoo even more expensive.

Jonathan pierced my ears. I went there around 11:30 or so and they werent even supposed to be open yet. He saw me at the door and even though he was on the phone he let me in and got me done in just a few minutes - even before they were supposed to be open! I told him Id come back later when they were open, but he said his customers were the reason they were here. The shop was clean, and Jonathan was very professional. The piercing was lightning fast and relatively painless. He gave me everything I need to keep it clean along, with instructions, etc. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I got my tattoo this past September by Jason and he did an amazing job! Im absolutely in love with the idea he came up with and how it turned out. The cost was quite reasonable, the service was wonderful, and it ended up taking less time than I anticipated. In addition, this was my first tattoo and Jason really made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole process. Just FYI generally, you have to set up an appointment pretty well in advance rather than just walking in (unless its something small). I had a wonderful experience and I would recommend the tattoo shop for anyone.

Past experiences Ive had here were fine. Had a lousy experience today as I got turned away at the door because I had all the credentials that I have needed in the past to have my daughters ear pierced and she wanted another piercing and they told me that she had to have a photo ID that which is fine. Problem Im having is that I made a trip down there to have her ear pierced and I research their website and no where on their website is any kind of requirements to get her ear pierced that would be very helpful see you not wasting my time!

After reading many comments on what people had to say I was pretty nervous to go get nose done here but no one else was available so we went anyway . Mind you this is my first facial piercing I was scared they would be mean and rush me like everyone has said ! Well I was wrong , while she was fast it was done and over with before I had time to be scared ! Happy with my experience at Brookside. They did my piercing but this was my first tattoo. The girl at the front was very helpful. I walked in, told her what I wanted, and she produced it quickly. Jesse did the ink and I can definitely recommend him. He was friendly and did a good job explaining what to expect. Love the work he did.

He sounded very confident. My tattoo looks like a seven year old did it. The color is uneven, there is black in with the red from not cleaning the needle properly, its out of shape and color is missing in some places from going too deep and scabbing too bad. A co-worker spent two days in the hospital with a staph infection.

Doyle did an awesome job on my chest piece, its all script and its perfect. My girlfriend got a dermal done by a girl Demi and was in the back for a good 15 minutes, and afterwards someone showed us it wasnt deep enough and it just really sucks because dermals arent something you can remove. but Doyles awesome!

Johnathan pierced my lip when I was 18 I was super nervous but he calmed me down and kept talking while he was getting everything ready. It was so quick I didnt realize he was finished until he told me it was. I recommend this place to anyone for piercings... No personal experience with the tattoo artist...

I got my tongue pierced last year around October with my best friend. They were very welcoming and kept us comfortable so we wouldnt get too nervous. They helped us with information on taking care of it and also gave us a kit to keep it sterilized. I love this place and the staff is amazing!

Im new to Tulsa so shopping around for a tattoo shop took time. I like my artist and the work he did... I will go back for more work. Being from Wichita, kids are not allowed in tattoo shops, so that was different, kind of irritating. But in all I love my work.

This tattoo shop is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I have gotten a tattoo from Jesse and he was very friendly and talkative. My husband and I also got piercings here and the woman who helped us was so personable and kind! I plan to return.
