I got my hair cut at Ulta. I have never been so upset with a haircut in my life. This was my first time coming to Ulta After telling the hairdressers I did not like the haircut she hastily walked me to the checkout. She handed me a slip to take to the front. I asked why can I not check out here she stated " this is only for making appointments" then walked away. This station had a card reader and was clearly ment to be the salon check out. I proceeded to the front where the line took almost 15 minutes to get to the front. In tears I told the ladies at the front I did not like the cut and the hairdresser did not apply my 20% discount for new visitors. She told me she could not do anything I would have to go back to the hairdresser. After The hairdresser had already not acknowledged that I did not like the cut and done nothing about it. I did not go back I had to pay $43 for the worst haircut of my life and was treated very poorly.

Ulta is a good make-up place if you want to stay in Norman. Otherwise, I suggest you go to Ulta in OKC or Sephora. I am a frequent shopper here as I cant always make the drive when I run out of hair spray or conditioner etc. Lately the customer service has been atrocious. The lack of help from their workers and the attitude in general is very off putting. The variety in product is good but Ive been disappointed time and time again by the overall poor quality of customer service.

Went in there yesterday for the shampoo liter sale. I spoke with a blonde and a Hispanic woman, who did not seem to be knowledgeable when it came to what items were on sale. After noticing the sale tag, the blonde and the Hispanic became very condescending and abruptly walked off before I could ask more questions. I planned to spend at least $300 yesterday, but because of the poor service I received, I literally just left my bag full of items in the store.

Dont go to this store dressed too casually, or you will be completely ignored. Im a stay at home mom of a child with special needs, and I am too tired to put on hose and high heels etc. I walked all over this store looking for a specific item (still cant believe I did this), and I wasnt spoken to or helped by anyone. Doesnt even deserve one star. You can bet that I will never go to this store again.

I love the store in general but about a month ago I went in with my boyfriend and I and we got followed around by a lady with blonde hair so that was insulting. I think it was someone like a manager I wish I took more time to see what her name was but I will be going to a new ulta. That was a poor experience just because my partner and I are people of color.

I am very disappointed in these salon. I had an appointment today and when I got there I was informed the schedule had been changed and the person I had an appointment with was not there. The woman did not offer to take care of me or reschedule my appointment. I will not be returning to this store or salon.

Life with Ulta has been hit or miss, but Mele NAILED my haircut and showed me superb service! Im over a week into this haircut and I love it just as much every day as I did the first. When I checked out up front, the girl was really nice too. Thanks Norman Ulta!

The staff here have always been helpful to me despite my prolific ignorance. If I go in and ask for something my wife had wanted they are always helpful and point me right to it. Bonus star for never trying to upsell me. Six out of five stars.
