Retail stores need a backup plan. I went to Harbor Freight today to buy a very specific item and they had a three day sale. Their credit card machine wasnt working. They also couldnt take a check because they couldnt get an "authorization code". My only recourse was to go to the bank, get cash and go back. The management didnt offer ANY other option. Really not ok. As a consumer I have a lot of options. Ill go elsewhere.

I realize the card readers go down every so often, but to also not take checks. Really? The prices may be good, but to go through the entire store before they let me know and not be able to buy what I shopped for? Not ok.
