Penny & Stella are amazing!!! I bake and decorate cakes as a hobby so I came in with high standards but trying to keep everything within budget. First, the cake flavors are amazing - you have to try the liqueur flavors! They are delicious!!! Penny and Stella were also willing to try out different combinations and flavors that I suggested which I think is awesome and which Im not sure every bakery would be willing to do. Next, the cakes are beautiful and Penny and Stella are extremely attentive to what you want for your wedding cake. They were wonderful about sitting down with me to discuss every detail of what I wanted and they even texted me pictures as they put the cake together since we hadnt discussed whether I wanted one flower or two on each layer of the cake. Incredible attention to detail!!! And these cakes are so affordable! After looking around Phoenix and Scottsdale AZ and Cleveland OH before deciding to have the reception in Warren, I was completely shocked at how inexpensive the cakes are!!! They are definitely under-charging, especially for the detailed decorations! The fake cake option is really great too. I had 90 people at my reception and I think that a real cake for 90 people would have been pretty small. With the fake cake option, I had a really grand, impressive-looking cake that probably would have fed about 400 people if it were real (so that would have been really expensive!). We got 3 half-sheet cakes to serve to our guests, which gave us a lot of leftover cake, as we wanted! Fyi, I was so busy talking to guests that I never got around to actually eating my wedding cake at the wedding (aside from me & my husband cutting the cake, of course) so I was definitely extremely happy that we ordered more than we needed. Thank you Penny & Stella for my perfect wedding cake!!! :-D

DO NOT GET YOUR WEDDING CAKE HERE!!!!! THE CAKE BOUTIQUE FORGOT to deliver my wedding cake, which was also our gender reveal cake, so it was a focal point of the evening. When we tried to call, they were closed, but we left them messages. Luckily, the wonderful people at Mr. Anthonys tracked someone down. The next day, they never returned our call. THEY DID NOT APOLOGIZE! In fact, they tried to blame it on us, stating it was a pick up, which it was NOT .Then the manager who I spoke with was very rude and unprofessional, making excuses as to why they almost ruined my wedding day. When I called and identified myself, she knew exactly who I was...SO WHY DIDNT SHE CALL FIRST THING IN THE MORNING TO APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR MISTAKE??!!! For some reason, even if it was a pick up, why wouldnt someone call us and say there was a WEDDING CAKE that was still there when they closed???? Because of THEIR error and poor record keeping, it caused even more stress on a 7 month pregnant bride. The whole experience was unprofessional and the manager who was there that day was clearly incompetent and doesnt know how to properly run a business.

My experience with the Cake Boutique was wonderful. I planned my wedding from hundreds of miles away and they were a breeze to work with via phone and email. When we were in town, they made time so we could sit down to discuss and do a tasting. They made suggestions that fit our reception size rather than simply adding dollars onto the bill. They took time with us to make suggestions and to try different combinations of things. I called a week prior to ensure all was going to go as planned, that we were on the same page and come the day of the wedding my cake was sitting there gorgeous as could be. We are beyond amazed at the simplicity it was to work with this company and how much they went over and above, even for a smaller cake like ours, to make sure everything was perfect.

Wish i could have no stars..Utterly horrible...i had a cake tasting for my wedding had it planned for about a week came all the way which was 45 min from my home..and they didnt have anything to sample for me and my husband..but your supposed to be a famous cake boutique.. yet there was another family there and they were tasting cake in the back at the same time..I am sad to say that I think it was a race issue.. I was being watched the whole time In the building i Felt so uncomfortable I mean.. u just dont know I would have paid anything for my cake...i will never go or recommend a soul there

We set up an appointment to talk about wedding cakes. When I said we wanted to do a small cake for my husband and I, on the phone, staff told us that was fine. But when we got there we were told we had to order sheet cakes through them for the rest of our guests. $300-$400 for sheet cakes for our 225 guest wedding. We already have our sheet cakes ordered through a different bakery and told the staff here that we just wanted a small cake. That was fine when we were setting up our appointment, but after driving 35 minutes we were told they wouldnt make a cake for us.

My stepdaughter mom ordered a cake from here for her birthday. When she brought it was decorated nicely, we actually joked about not wanting to eat it cause it looked so nice. Well we shouldnt have. It was the most terrible cake I have ever eaten. Thats including Wal-Mart or giant eagle. It was dense like a fruit cake and the tasted stale and dry. I was so disappointed. I am a baker and was going to make the cake, but ended up not have the time. I really should have made the time. Never ever will I get or eat a cake from there.

Im am utterly disappointed in the hours you are open Monday. This is an outrage! All I wanted was to consume a cupcake after school on Monday and you close at 3pm! I dont understand. These hours dont accommodate to local high schoolers needs. Other than that issue your cupcakes are delectable. Have a great day!

My friend got her wedding cake here I got my wedding cake here and these guys won on Food Network cake Showdown or Cake Wars and the cake is if I could give it 10 Stars I would because it was that amazing moist Rich the flavors are through the roof!!

Absolutely amazing! My daughters Quinceanera cake was delicious and guests raved about it. Cant decide which I enjoyed more the banana, chocolate , or the white. It was worth the 1 hour and 45 min drive to get to the shop. Best cake ever!
