What a complete JOKE this mall is! Theres nothing of good quality in the mall. The condition of the mall is beyond RIDICULOUS!! No good stores, carpet is decades old, worn out and falling apart, needs to be painted, etc. Half of the mall has been boarded up. Stores keep closing. They should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves for letting this mall go like this!!! Its a DUMP! Kmart closed and Sears is closing very soon too! The crime is ridiculous as well- shots were fired in the parking lot, people are found overdosed on heroin in their cars here, and now there was a bomb threat. They need to just shut this place down. The people of Steubenville need a SERIOUS reality check because they dont get how bad that mall and Steubenville really are!! And no one really cares but they just spread false rumors of stores opening. Go to Robinson mall or Ohio Valley Mall!! Wont find anything here!

The Fort Stuben mall was a great place to shop and look around at. However, the place is in a downward spiral in terms of maintenance, and numbers of stores. There are more than a handful of stores that have gone out of business in the past year, and nothing has replaced these stores giving off a kind of ghost town feeling. Let alone to mention a few largest retailers in the mall have, or are closing soon. The maintenance on the building is degrading as well. The carpets covering the entire mall are stained black in some areas, and other smaller issues arise often. Dont get me wrong, the few stores that occupy the mall are quality places, but its not enough to stay for more than 1 hour.

This isnt a big city mall, nor is it a relatively new mall. Its a very old building with uneven floors and walkways, as if the floor bowed up in areas. Macys is closing here and will be out by end of February 2017. Leaving a JcPenny, shoe store, Spencers, Kay jewelry, GameStop, phone stores and a few other country living type places. Along with a pizza place and a restaurant, it actually has two different pretzel shops. A movie theater is also attached. The surrounding area offers a Dicks, lowes, rural Karen king, harbor freight, planet fitness, ollies, and a Walmart. Texas road house, applebees and an eat n park

This mall actually sucks. There are like almost no stores left in it. But its a mall and it still exists when so many others have shut down (especially when doomed by having Wal-Mart as their anchor store). Its nice to be able to have a nearby mall to take the kids for holiday photos. And its a carpeted --Totally crazy in this day and age. I dont go there very often, but when I do its nice to get that mall experience and browse Bath and Body Works or Game Stop with virtually no crowds ever. I cant forsee it staying open for many more years. Like most malls it will be gone. Enjoy it while its still here.

Good Ol Steubenville, keeps getting worse and worse. Purse snatchings, dead stores, ugly people. The whole county is corrupt, no wonder no business can survive in this town, unless you pay someone off. Now they are shooting people up near the Movie Theater! Sounds like a good place to give someone you hate ( x wife, etc) a $50 gift certificate, if you wish they will get mugged or shot at. LOL

Steubenville mall needs more good eating places like Ruby Tuesday, and Logan Roadhouse. It also needs a womens plus clothing store, not to mention a Bed, Bath and Beyond. The mall really, really needs a good computer store like Micro Center (closet one is in Columbus, OH or Philadelphia, PA). Not just a store that sells computers. A store that has ALL the computer parts.

The Fort Steuben mall has lost many businesses. The businesses that are there are great however its an inconvenient place to go unless you need something from the few businesses there. The Fort Steuben mall is up for auction as of February 23 and there are many rumors around what will happen to it. The future is very uncertain

A dead mall with only Wal-Mart and JC Penney as the real anchor stores here. This mall has tried to work, but it is has had its day 20 years ago. Mostly junk shops are located here, with perhaps a couple of decent stores to shop in if you are desperate. Go to the Mall in Robinson! It is thriving!

The mall is GREAT... it is centrally located and has easy access to a lot of things. Gamestop, Macys, MOVIES and a Chinese Buffet... plus a number of specialty shops GREAT AND its NOT so spread out that you get exhausted just trying to find your stores... very easy walking

Sad reality of small town life. Very few stores, too many vacancies, merchandise limited. I will check here first only to avoid driving up to Pittsburgh. They do have a decent movie theater but that cant compete with Pittsburgh either

Unfortunately, the Fort Steuben Mall is in a period of uncertainty. Most of the mall is vacant. The parking lot is not maintained it seems. Hopefully someone buys this property soon that can implement a plan to redevelop it.

a couple department stores, and thats pretty much it. It needs more chain stores/food places to draw people there. no much to do otherwise. like others have said, it seems more worth it to drive 30 mins and be in Robinson.

Probably one of the most depressing malls Ive ever been in. Half if not more of the stores are closed and theres hardly anyone in there. Walking through it makes you think that youre in some kind of post-apocalyptic world

Terrible.. apparently the rent is to high. Its like they want to get closed down since around the late 90s. I heard that Franciscan wants the land so they are purposefully making it not profitable.

"Mall" is a bit of a stretch. Most of the stores are closed and the "food court" is a pizza place and Chinese place. More of a place for a mom to push a stroller. Shopping? Forget it.

Need to put in a Hollister or build a bear or Victorias secret or Abercrombie n Fitch or justice clothing store but the best pizza is sold here at the pizza store next to claries

Its currently going under new management, but has lost a couple of its anchor stores. Still has a few fun little shops and placed to eat. And has an awesome movie theater.

The reason 2 stars because you need more good stores. Like an all anime store, toy store, and many of other good stores. Thats why i mainly been going to robinson

Been coming here since it opened. But its slowly dying. So sad to see. Macys closing leaving only JC Penneys as an anchor. The Ville has good food and service.
