We frequent this Petsmart often as it is closest to us but after yesterday we will keep coming back for sure. About 9 months ago we purchased the Top Fin brand 20 gallon starter kit fish tank. Top Fin is Petsmarts own brand. A couple of weeks ago the filter died on us and we lost about 3/4 of our tank life pretty much overnight. We went to Petsmart to purchase a new filter and see about getting our money back for the dead one. Without a receipt (since we purchased it 9 months ago) the manager didnt hesitate to tell us to bring back the filter and they would credit us the cost towards a new one. We purchased a 45-gallon filter at the recommendation of the employee in the fish department at the time, but it proved far too powerful for our little 20-gallon tank (our fish were getting blown away!). So we decided to upgrade to a 30-gallon tank, which we were keen on doing anyway. When we came back to the store to discuss this, the manager informed us that no 30-gallon tanks were available without the full starter kit, which we did not need since we had already replaced the filter and heater. So instead, he offered to take apart a kit for us, removing what we did not need, and deducting that from the price of the kit. We gave them our nasty old filter, and were given a new filter and 36-gallon tank with no trouble at all. We now have our new aquarium all set up and it looks fantastic! The customer service at this store is so far above and beyond, I will recommend them to everyone!

I first went in line ask for the medication Capstar large and little does for all 4 of my pets two cats to dogs they said they have the little one and one left of the larger one I said thats good cause my Siberian Husky I need it cause baths arent working feeling relieved cuz Ive been looking for two and a half weeks for the larger does I decided to take my kids to look at the cat and fish and told them to hold them for me they said that would be fine they would have them held at register two for me after looking at the other pets I went to check out just to find out that they sold the one large medication they had told him I really need it and they said they would hold hold. They told me I could double up the little pills on my large dog which Ive already done it does not work what doesnt work because the little ones are 11.4 milligrams and the large ones are 57 milligrams that is 5 times the amount set a whole box of little one And is Way more expensive that way they said they would try another store for me which I have already tried all the stores in town so they told me the best thing to do is get me some more in by Monday maybe and my dog is very smart dog to come home and tell her that I didnt have no medication for her the pure white Siberian Huskies baby blue eyes sad look at me cuz I told her I was getting her medication today

My husband and I have three dogs, one of which is a puppy that we got in the last year. We go to PetSmart for a lot of their services. Their pet hospital, Banfield, is top-notch. We have had countless check-ups, dental cleanings, and surgical procedures here and weve never had a problem. I know the Banfield staff take good care of our dogs. When our chow Athena was limping for a few days they were able to see us and run some tests on her to check out her joints. Whats more is that they treat us as partners in their care. The PetSmart store customer service is excellent, as their staff is friendly and informative. We got a new puppy kit with all kinds of coupons for our new addition. We took a puppy orientation class which gave us tips on potty training. The trainer also helped us find better dog food for our three girls. The grooming services are also excellent if you are looking for a one stop shop. Our puppy Lexi had a coat with a lot of knots in it, and they shaved her and helped give us tips on how to prevent matting for next time. If you are a new pet owner who needs help, or an experienced pet owner looking for a specific product, PetSmart is the place for you.

My mom took my Pomeranian there today to be groomed, and they shaved her whole body! She has bald patches all over, they only left hair around her face, tail and paws, when she asked for a trim and a shape. When I called the store, the grooming manager was out They transferred me over to the store manager, who could care less that they ruined my dogs coat. The worst customer service Ive ever experienced. My mom paid $72, for the worst hair cut in history and he wasnt even willing to give her a refund. Needless to say that I will never take my dog there again! We will take all of our pets needs some where else. They lost a long time customer forever.

If I could give no stars I would. Admitted to not taking care of their tortoises properly, not feeding them the right diet, cramped housing, incorrect housing of male and female tortoise together. Sold a sick Russian Tortoise who has had a respiratory infection for what the vet said was months, so its safe to conclude that the other tortoise is sick too. 120 dollar vet bill and having to inject my brand new tortoise with medication for the next month to get him healthy. Extremely grateful to have gotten him out of the terrible situation he was in. But I highly suggest staying away from this place if you are trying to buy an animal.

I took my Chihuahua here for the first time today to be groomed. The sweetest woman named Alex helped get her checked in and was also the person who checked her out. Alex should be training employees across the country! She was so patient with me (I forgot Lucys proof of rabies & had to come back) and wonderful with the dogs. Even though they were very busy she took a few minutes to explain some things about my dog and ways to help prevent shedding, etc. Her job knowledge, customer service & people skills are outstanding. The other groomers were also very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend their services.

I got onto their Petsmart vet plan that says I should be paying 35$ a month for whatever he needs, but somehow keep getting charged for "extra" things. Also my dog was in extream pain after his Neuter like they somehow forgot his pain pills. He couldnt walk 5 feet without crying and laying down and was barely drugged. His expensive unincluded cone pops off with everything he runs into and isnt even cone shaped. He looks like a freaking plate. Very unhappy with the "Plan" the service and my dogs pain levels.

Ive been a member here for the past four years since Ive gotten my Yorkie from my mother. The groomers are very responsible and very loving to my dog Sam, which is the biggest goal I wanted to match. They are knowledgeable and helping. Grooming also isnt that expensive which is also a plus. .
