We got referred to Poochies by a friend and yes, the owner and staff are truly amazing with dogs as well as cats. They are super friendly to both human and animal and they are doing an excellent job trimming the hair. Our dog love the place and has no fear walking in there each time. The animals receive good care as well as treats and the result is not only a wonderful hair cut, but also a happy animal. On top of that the store provides tons of great treats, toys and more so you can truly pamper your dog or cat in many ways.

WOOF AND WINE--new cute and quaint little shop/bar right next to Poochies. Great selection of wines of "on tap" by glass or bottle as well as several unique beers on tap and can. Very nice selection of charcuterie trays, homemade chocolates, dips, flat bread pizzas, etc. Quaint, friendly and laid back. Great place to make acquaintances and new friends, find out about the local talk and enjoy a break from your day. Parking can be a slight issue, but its worth finding a place and visiting! Friendly staff

My pets came home happy and looking beautiful. The groomer did exactly as I asked and there were no scabs or cuts as I have experienced elsewhere. They also made suggestions on keeping their coats nice and itch free. If there is a product that they do not have in stock, they will order it for you. Their dog food is high quality and priced better than the large chains. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and they love all my dogs, even my old crabby one.

I am very disappointed by this salon. All the reviews were amazing, their store is very nice with great baked goods but the actual job they did on my dog was not great. They clearly took shortcuts, her beard wasnt cleaned at all, I found multiple stickers that were hidden inside and she was still matted under her arms and legs. $45 was a great price but not if they arent covering the basics.

Pooches is the best! Josh takes such good care of our dog, Nina, and our cat, Mila. Nina goes in for her monthly spa treatment, in other words, bath, and Mila gets her nails trimmed. Jeff, the owner, is always helpful and Brittany does a mean dog bath! They were also very sweet about contributing to a community event I was involved with recently, and I really appreciated that!

From New York, staying in Florida for 2 months and our 2 Shih Tzus needed a full groom badly. It is nerve wracking to take them somewhere you dont know and they dont know. But we went to Poochies one day and they gave us a tour of the whole grooming area. Took them in two days later and they did a wonderful job. Actually did a better job than our groomer back home.

Owner is super nice! Trimmed my Italian Greyhounds nails (I couldnt get him to hold still when I tried!!) and did an awesome job. Great selection of quality dog food and treats. Dog-Eden needed a store like this!!
