One star is generous for this rugged store. We ordered carpet through Home Depot on July 4 for a 5 day install deal. Instead, they said they could install it on the 26 at the earliest!!!! When they came to install it (finally!) it was the wrong carpet! I mean, it was nothing close. Then asked us to keep the wrong carpet, which we did not want to do, because it didnt match anything in our house! We then had to wait another 2 weeks with our house torn up. We had no carpet and tacks all over the floor. My daughter stepped on one of the tacks and it got her toe infected and had to get a tetanus shot. It was not a safe living environment. Finally, after 2 weeks of disarray, they came to install our carpet. It was supposed to be a 2 day install. The bottom level was all ready to go with padding and everything, but the upstairs just had one bedroom to be cleared (which i was on my way to do so). Instead of using common sense and finishing the bottom floor while I took 5 minutes to clear the top floor, they decided to leave saying that we were not ready (though we had been waiting for a month, smh). We called their company to be in touch with the rudest, most arrogant manager raging about our inadequacy and saying that they could come back in another two weeks. He also mentioned that he had seen pictures of the bedroom that was not done. Fed up, we went back to Home Depot to get our measurements, so we could go to a different store. The lady (shoutout to you Sheri) we talked to refused to give us the measurements that we paid for in claims that it was their property. She pulled up pictures of MY daughters bedroom that was not done. The middle-aged, rugged looking men took pictures of my 17 year old daughters bedroom and were sending them around... something is definitely not right about that. Not only did they take pictures of her bedroom, but Sheri threatened me saying that she would post the pictures of my daughters bedroom online. They are now charging us a $1000 restocking fee if we do not get our carpet done with them and rescheduled us two weeks later while the men took the day off. This company does not understand what customer service is or what it should look like. I have never EVER had a such a terrible experience in my life. I hope no one else makes the same mistake. So, if you are ever tempted to buy carpet from Home Depot, DONT. FYI: I will be posting this every day until I receive some form of compensation/resolution.

Home depot really went above and beyond for me. I have a friend that waterproofs basements for a living and he said that he would install a waterproofing system for me and lifetime warrant the work if I bought all of the materials. I placed a very large concrete order (169 bags of 60 lbs of quikcrete) and come to find out the guy that waterproofs basements told me that they provide their own concrete and I got the wrong kind. So I had to unfortunately return 3 pallets of concrete to Home Depot. Home Depot went above and beyond from scheduling the delivery to pick the concrete they originally delivered to my house and placed in the garage all the way to the end of the process. They even sent a couple guys out to down stack the pallets so the driver could pick the pallets up with the fork lift and place them on the truck the day before. Connie and Emily at the service desk were super friendly and easy to work with and management was wonderful as well. Am super pleased and this is why I continue to shop at home depot. Thanks all!

I shopped here two days in a row and was helped by an extremely friendly man named Larry (very knowledgable). He gave me helpful tips that really saved me. I was stripping and staining my deck. The store has everything you need and the help was always asking to help you no matter where you were in the store. Oh and the bathroom was immaculate it was the cleanest bathroom I have seen in almost any store. Finally I would say that have better quality stuff than the local competition and I say this from being loyal to the other store for a while probably just b/c it is closer to my house.

Most experiences have been good. Today the customer service department was lacking. Guess people cant be perfect all the time..I reckon I wont hold it against them..:) Lord knows Im not perfect but we should always try hard to make the customer happy because at the end of the day theyre the ones paying your salary. Unhappy customers usually dont come back for at least a year and some never. Turning their bad experience into good instead of making it worse will speak volumes to your customers. Simply put..just show them you care and if you dont then at least act like it!

As a woman, and as an independent Construction contractor, my time is of the utmost importance to myself & my clients. Ive always found the building materials & tools I need all in one stop shopping with my local Home Depot! No need to travel any further than 30 miles away from one of my job sites. No matter where my business ventures send me. I can always find reassurance that is appreciated just knowing that Home Depot in where ever I may travel to, far & near!

Just had to deal with the worst "customer service" person Ive come across in a while. I believe her apron said Denese or something like that. She was unbelievably rude right off the bat -not just to me but to every customer I watched her talk to. I had to return a toilet seat and she was SO annoyed. I would rather go to the DMV than talk to her. Im not usually surprised by bad customer service anymore, but she actually surprised me.

I went up to Home Depot on Veterans Day to buy a snowblower and learned that they give veterans a 10% discount 365 days a year, wow - super appreciated! I realized a couple days later that I did not get my manual. I worked with Larry at Home Depot who went above and beyond the call to get the manual for me and ensure I was 100% satisfied. Now that is great service, thanks Home Depot!

Lots of savings great sale we had a stove went out, we were very lucky they had over 30 percent off on stoves and additional saving that was great we did not expect our stove to stop working but the warranty was well over so I guess they cant work forever, to bad nice stove but the new one LG is even better

Excellent service and very knowledgeable at this location. I was laying tile in the kitchen/dining and kept having problems making a cut around one of the doors (tile kept breaking and our tile saw was a bit old). They offered to cut the tile for me at no charge allowing me to finish the project.

This Home Depot feels like home. People there know my name or my face well enough to say, "You back already?" Good people, great customer service, and super helpful. Never feels like a big box store to me. :)
