Update: I talked to Tara several times at Home Depot. She was able to resolve the problem immediately. She did give me a discount because of the small "warped" metal on the bottom of the washer. Really, there was nothing wrong with it. And she had actual home depot specialists come out to my house to install just a few days later. The specialists were very nice and polite unlike the third party installation guys that were sent out in the first place. I would give this review 5 stars because of Tara, but since we were treated horribly by the first installation guys sent and we had to wait forever for the install to actually happen, I have increased my rating from 1 star to 3. "Warning. I wish I could give Home Depot no stars. I purchased a dishwasher with installation. I had to wait about a week for delivery. Then when it was delivered they did not have all the correct parts for the install. They cut the water to my current dishwasher and left the new dishwasher I ordered sitting in my dining room. They said they would be back in a week. They also demanded that we get a new shut off valve, which we paid a plumber to come out and replace that day. So, a week later on August 14th, the delivery/installation guy shows up (I believe the guy had no idea how to install a dishwasher) looked at a few things, said he could not help me and left. He told us the washer was too damaged to install. There was a small warp in the metal on the bottom of the washer, NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. Home Depot needs to stop hiring these horrible third parties who have no idea what they are doing and actually keep a team of installation specialists that are qualified."

This is mainly about Blinds Department, in particular, the tall old guy at blinds. He is grumpy, doesnt describe options. Unless you are a contractor, new home owner will not know the difference between custom blinds and off shelve order. Now I am stuck with blinds which have big holes where thread runs, with less privacy and 10 extra plates left on one of the window and at least 3 extra on other. I had told the measurement guy about wanting one single blind for the entire window(106X96). They only told me that they dont get that size with faux wood when they came in for installation, not in advance. The response from the install guy(same guy who came for measurement) was I remember you told me when I took the measurement that you wanted one single, but it wont come for the material, why wasnt I conveyed that before I paid? As if thats not enough, they got wrong size delivered for my doors. I called Rick, since they delivered wrong size, I dont have my blinds delivered on time, if I could at least have those 10 extra plates removed off the that one window. Basically, store screwed it up and compensate, his answer was NO, we are going to re-deliver to fix what we screwed up, but not compensate. So, there is no value for "extra time" I need to spend at home accommodating their installer? "redelivering" the right size is fixing problem? I told him I was not happy with service, he said, "I am sorry you feel that way". What can you talk? I just paid extra 20 bucks to get those plates removed.

Most of the staff are friendly here. But today I encountered a grumpy old man in the returns section. I returned a fire ant product which didnt work and clearly states that it can be returned for money back guarantee if its not helpful. I have ordered for fire ant control with my pest control since this thing didnt work. And he has to confirm this with the other guy who agreed. I have seen people return empty bags if theyre ineffective. I returned after using half. After that he returned this product as though he is doing me a big favor by returning his own money. He displayed his attitude during the process. And he expected a thank you when I left. He was yelling "Youre welcome". I intentionally didnt thank him because of his attitude. Home depot should not put people with attitude issues in the refunds or check out counters since they spoil the shopping mood itself!

This was one of the worst experiences I can remember. Im given a contract to rent a truck for 3 hours and keep it within 50 miles for $203 with a $150 security deposit. When I bring the truck back with a full tank of gas and within the parameters they ended up charging me $103. When I asked them why I wasnt given my full security deposit back they said that they had forgotten to put the truck charge on my agreement so they had to go ahead and charge me for it!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! I talked to 2 managers in the process and nobody took any responsibility and they tried to blame it all on Penske. Needless to say Ill never be going to see them again. Thanks for just deciding to add on a charge that you never told me about and pull it out of my security deposit! I guess Ill be building something together with Lowes from now on!

Horrible service. I went there to find some supplies, and one thing that I needed was some wood. I needed to have a piece cut. I searched and asked multiple people for help and they said they would find somebody because nobody I asked was trained to cut wood. So I waited for 30 minutes and I still didnt have any one to cut just a piece of wood for me. This Home Depot has horrible service. I left after waiting and when I saw the workers, they were doing nothing. When Home Depot first opened, everyone knew everything about what was inside this store. Now, it has just gone downhill.

The 5 stars are 100% for Paige in customer service and Jennifer in paint department. Paige for her stellar customer service and Jennifer for expertise in paints and quick service. Both ladies were kind, friendly, and extremely helpful! They clearly take pride in their jobs and in Home Depot in general. Hopefully the management at Home Depot reads these reviews, because if they havent already done so, both Paige & Jennifer went the extra mile and it needs to be acknowledged, as they are excellent employees!

Maybe it is my sense of order but the layout of this home depot drives me a little crazy. The aisles are configured at an angle to the outside walls of the building. I usually have trouble finding what I am shopping for and the staff doesnt seem to know where things are either. Maybe this store was some kind of corporate experiment but in my opinion, it failed. Much prefer uniformity of operations from store to store.

Very poor customer service and rude staff. Associate walks by when my husband and I were shopping for area rugs and questioned us if he can clean up the rugs on the floor?? We told him they were lying there when we got to that area...he didnt even bother to apologise. Staff at check out are rude as well...zero courtesy. I am not going to HD any more nor spending a dime at this place, happy to shop at Lowes.

I still maintain this is a poorly managed store. You can never get assistance with products. We bought one item and went thru self checkout but it had a security tag on it. No one to scan it beca use the person monitoring the self checkout was scanning everything in a guys cart despite his being in self checkout line. So we left with our item and receipt and just let the sensor beep at us.
