I just wanted to start off by saying Ive never left a feedback , and I am sad to say this my first one. I bought a a car battery from Walmart in January 2016. So 11 month later the battery went out ( thats todays date November ). I got it tested and it turned out that the battery is bad.so I took it to Walmart to exchange it ( Walmart brand ) . The days was on the battery and sticker was still on it. One of the technician told me he has to test it , so he did and came back and told me it was bad. He called out the manager to get it exchanged , then the manager said " we need to test it " , then I told him the guy just tested it and he said it was bad. The manager said " no we have to do it again ". So I said thats fine go ahead and do it. While I was waiting he asked me for my receipt. I told him I do not have the receipt for something I bought 11 month ago , for something I didnt think would go out . Then he asked me which Walmart did you purchase it from , and I couldnt remember because I live in the Beavercreek area but work in the Middletown area. So I asked him if he can look it up. With an attitude he said no he couldnt look it up with no receipt. So I told him this is walmart brand and the warranty should be honored . So he told me , "you could have went to a junk yard and got a battery out of there and then coming to switch it here " . I got upset , I tried calling customer service after waiting for a half hour on the phone , they told me the battery has a serial number and the manager could have looked it up. So before I left I asked for my battery back and the manager again with An attitude said to me " so you want your battery now so you can leave " , after this I asked for the manager and sadly he happened to be the auto center manager. This has been a very terrible customer service especially from a manager at Walmart. So then I went up to the front to the customer service , and then they told me there is no one there that can help and I need to come back another day . This has been a very disgusting experience, and I wouldnt recommend purchasing anything from the Middletown Walmart , its the worst Walmart !

I would never suggest coming to this Walmart for anything automotive. I often bring my work trucks in for oil changes and have to sit for at least an hour to have a service that takes no more than 10 minutes to complete. You can sit in their waiting room and watch as your vehicle is pulled into the garage and then left sitting for a good 30-40 minutes before anyone even touches it. I feel I should add that this is not due to them being busy although they inexplicably are from time to time, you can watch as they neglect to perform work on any of the vehicles in their bays for stretches of time in which they could have gotten several vehicles done. On top of their complete disregard for their customers time, they can routinely be heard saying, where customers can hear, that they are ranked as one of, if not the best oil change services in the state (an obvious attempt to mask their ineptitude, in my opinion).

Chantel in automotive was clearly very upset a customer (myself) asked her if I could turn in my ATV battery core. For approx 5 minutes while we waited for her manager to gain her access to the register she complained about how long it is taking this manager. During the wait she kept sighing in disgust. She was to lazy to go out in the garage to get him, but instead kept yelling for him through the window. I hope this stores leadership sees this review and addresses this matter. I suggest finding her something else to do that has minimal customer interaction. For instance, cleaning the bathrooms. I was completely shocked by her demeanor, body language and words. The rest of the store employees I approached were great, with the exception of this one associate

Called Walmart Customer Service at 8:00 pm and asked to be connected to the Tire & Battery Center. The person at customer service said ok & transferred me over. After about 10 minutes of being on hold a person hung up the phone. When I called back I asked the same CS employee if the Tire & Battery is still open & she said no they close at 7. So I asked her why she transferred me to a department that she knew wasnt opened & she laughed & said well you asked me to transfer you....Seriously what kind of backwoods rednecks is this place hiring. There are plenty of ppl out of work that could use a job like hers that would appreciate the opportunity. As a business owner I find it pathetic that the voice of your store acts in such an unprofessional manner

I went in to pick up something I ordered online and I went back to the services desk. One woman told me that it was in and that they were getting it, another told me it hadnt arrived. I waited around for about an hour and a different guy tried helping me and had no idea what he was doing. And then, after an hour and a half, they told me they didnt have what i purchased. They told me Id be refunded but it will take several weeks. Seriously??? And then when i went to purchase a different radio in the store, the employee didnt have a key and disappeared after he said hed be back. One employee even stopped and said "Do you need help" and when I said yes he said, "Yeah wish I could help" and walked away. Ridiculous. Never going here again.

Nothing is ever stocked on the shelves. You cant get anybody to really help you. Good employees are far and few between but there are some good ones. Drug addicts are all over the place, inside and outside. Depending on the time you go and the day of the month, you walk out feeling disgusting and the smell of an old wet ashtray, feet, cats, dogs and ass stays stuck in your nose for a long time after you leave. The bathrooms are disgusting. Theres never enough lanes open and waiting for pickup at the customer service counter is ridiculous. I purposely drive an extra 30 minutes away just to not have to deal with the mess at this one. The only good thing I can say about this store is the deli crew is very friendly and helpful.

Took my vehicle in for service and they left one hubcap off. Called and talked to assistant manager after waiting on hold for auto service for 10 minutes. Assistant manager(James Richardson) said he would look into it and get back to me and never did. Called again and James was gone but assistant manager (Tina Burton) said the same thing and never got back with me. Called the following Monday and asked for manager, waited on hold and vision dept picked up. Sent me back to main line and put me back on hold. Havent priced the hub cap but it has to be cheaper and easier than finding a walmart manager whose IQ is higher than thier shoe size. Buy tires with warranty from WalMart again? Really?
