I went in looking for a new Betta fish and when I saw the display I gasped out loud! They were all in barely an inch of water and some even had there fins out of the water because the water levels were so low. All of the Betta fish bowls had such dark water inside that you almost couldnt even see the fish at all. I grabbed the one with the lowest, dirtiest amount of water and went to an employee and Im buying this poor fish and I want you to change the water before I leave. I then watched him digging through boxes in the back trying to find water conditioner... im guessing the fact that he cant find any in the store is why they all looked so terrible! He then finally changed the water in the one I was buying and gave it back to me. I then went and poured some of the water into the one that had the least amount so it wasnt so low. It makes me very upset that the employees were just hanging out and not even caring enough to refill these Betta cups. If I could give 0 stars I would. The pet valu at Graceland is much better.

I love Jacks and didnt know there was one near my office. I checked out PetSmart, Petland and a few other niche places and all had NASTY aquariums with dead fish in them. As usual the feeder fish tanks were extremely dirty, so I knew those employees just didnt care. I decided to stop in Jacks and the place was CLEAN, smelled CLEAN, the tanks didnt just look clear, all the fish looked healthy and stress-less and vibrant. VERY IMPRESSED. Came home with 2 new German Gold Ram Cichlids and Im VERY happy with the experience. Its hard to impress me, since Im very used to being able to go to Aquarium Adventure or true specialty fish stores.

NOT A GOOD STORE! the manager, Brian, was rude and yelled at a customer in front of me. Its a shame i used to be in the store once a week to buy food and accessories and commodities but ever since the new manager took over and the old management team left i no longer feel at home in the store. Jacks has a reputation to uphold because not only are there prices higher than competitors but their selection is limited, the service was always enough to keep me out of petco but since the quality standard has gone down in the customer service department there is nothing to hold my buisness. thank you, but no thanks.

I usually come here for my fish; their prices are much more reasonable than a specialized competitors in Dublin off 161 and Sawmill, and they still offer some unusual/unique picks every once in awhile. They will price match anything and Ive always had great service there. They stand behind their words and will take back any pets within the guidelines of their policies. They are knowledgeable and have yet to lead me astray; Brian has been very nice to me and has so far offered great advice, suggestions, and customer service when he is available. All other associates are also very helpful.

Beautiful, clean interior with a wide variety at lower prices than most competitors. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me find exactly the right food for my cats sensitive stomach. Great customer service. They even have a DIY "spa" area where you can wash & clean your pet. The entire store is very clean & inviting.

Was very disappointed with my visit today .I went to the lizard section and saw a crested gecko housed with a bunch of green anols and one small plant and the employee told me the crested gecko lost his tail due to stress ...wonder why hes stressed .crossing species of lizards should almost never happen

Stopped in today because I was up north visiting my parents. There isnt one of these near my house but now I wish there was. Very clean and organized store. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Carried my giant dog food bag to the car despite it being below freezing outside.

Great products at good prices! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I also love the fact that they have adoptable cats from Rescue organizations and not just trying to sell animals for profit. They host frequent rescue group events as well.

Huge fan of their pet wash. We always take our pets there for their baths... Note, my wife recently found a groupon for their pet washes and picked it up!
