The staff is very friendly and helpful but the store policies are horrible. I bought a game that I was concerned may have problems. They assured me it looked pretty good and ran it through their cleaning system several times. 2 days later I had to bring it back. It was freezing up and was unreadable. I asked if they had another copy in store, they didnt. Their store across town had one but I couldnt drive over there to get it I disnt havery time. They would transfer it for me but I would have to wait at least a day to transfer it and on top of that it cost more at the other store and I would have to pay the difference. Really?! What kind of exchange policy is that! So I told them never mind just refund it, I was sure I could find it somewhere else nearby. They wouldnt refund it, they could only give me store credit. So they sell me a defective product, arent able to replace it in store, require me to pay more money while I wait to get one transferred to their store and then wont refund me my money to go elsewhere. I wont be back and Ill make sure all my gamer friends know to stay away. First time and last time customer.

To win customers as a game store, it takes selection, prices, trade-in value, and customer service. This locations selection is mediocre at best, their trade-in value is FAR below par, even on high-end recent items. The prices are also higher than average, presumably to encourage in-store credit, but with that also falling short, it ends up just being a bit of a rip-off. In addition, they have a method of saving store credit on their computers, but its a hand-keyed ledger and it seems like they lose your credit as often as they save it. The only thing that kept me there was one of their salespeople, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to get an item that was not in stock at the time. I found out today that he was let go. Theres a GameStop right up the street. You might as well drive right past Play It and go directly there.

Prices are always on par with the cheapest brick & mortar store and online sellers. Knowledgeable friendly staff, they tend to offer discounts on large purchases. Not the greatest selection in store but they offer to deliver games from their other locations to the location of your choosing so its a much better inventory than first glance. They also have a great selection of classics. From Nintendos, to Playstations, to Gameboys. Pretty much anything you can think of Best used video game store Ive ever dealt with

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago on my journey to check out all of the local video game stores. This was my first stop but I wish it was my last. I bought a game here for $25 only later to find out another store had the game for $9 and it included the case. A few days ago I stopped back inside because they had a game that I wanted for what I thought was a good price. I paid $20 for this game, later to find out another game store had it for $3.99. The prices are too much.

if this branch didnt have such good people working here, i would have no desire to go there for anything. i am very upset with how inaccessible they are. one person to work the store, and when that one person needs to leave the store will be closed for an hour. i like the store, but over priced merchandise and lack of access to the store makes me want to go elsewhere. they think people will pay $70 for mega man x on snes. i can pay $30 on amazon or buy maverick hunter x for $10.

Worst experience ever I preordered a game came in to get it the second day it came out I go to pay for it and they gave me a open copy with no Manuels. Its not the fact that I need the Manuels but I preordered it I should get a unopened copy with everything in it and I should be the one opening it. If I was to go to game stop which I should have none of the would of happened and I would have got the stuff that comes with it when u preorder it. Never again will I go there.

Very unreliable I asked for a Nintendo DS charger and he gave me one and so I took it back to my house to use it because Ive gotten back into Pokemon and turns out it doesnt fit the Nintendo DS and they only will give you store credit. I called and said it didnt fit and the guy basically told me that it should fit and that it would but it obviously does not. DO NOT GO THERE

Most of the people are great. Prices seem good on most stuff and they carry old game system games. The only bad thing is that last week I went in and the guy working was having a bad day. I had a game on hold and when he couldnt find it he started throwing stuff around violently. INCLUDING MY GAME! That was something I was about to buy and he was chucking it around.

A very amazing place to bye video games and movies. It sells both new and old games, like Atari, Nintendo 69, etc. Every time I go there, I am greeted and asked if I am looking for something. They also clean video games. I had a very dirty video game, that barley worked, and after getting it cleaned, it worked like it was new again.

This place ROCKS! I always go here every week for my video games. They are smart and actually play games and know about video games. Other stores in Hillard dont have a clue. Prices are up to date and always the lowest in town. Trades are fair and you always feel like you got over on them, not that they got over on you!

I recently visited here after we realized that Gamestop no longer carried Xbox games. I was very pleasantly surprised by the new store. The old one could be described as grim and surly the new one is bright and optimistic. Good prices and great selection and a good collection of vintage video games.

The dude working was super friendly, as well as the other customers there. The game I was looking for was stupid cheap and they even offer a 30 day warranty, which is pretty dope, if you ask me. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for quality used console games and retro consoles.

Ive had some issues with this place in the past regarding in-store credit. Selection is average at best and pricing is not nearly as good as other places within decent driving distance. Avoid this place and make your way to either Westpointe down in Hilliard or Play N Trade up in Dublin.
