O Lordy -- IF you can go anywhere else to get what Kmart has - even if you have to pay extra ... GO THERE. In Harrison, we dont have a nearby WalMart, Target or other large discount store. Outside of a MarketPlace Krogers...this IS our large store. I cant even begin to tell you the problems I have had here. 1. they sell expired items. I ended up giving an expired juice to one of the grandkids - 2. I asked them to put 1/2 of my bill on a debit card and the other half on a check - they put everything on the check - I had to make sure I was at the bank Monday to deposit the extra money - (this meant me leaving work to make a 30 minute drive to my bank). 3. two weeks after the check ordeal , I went back (the first sign I am an idiot) and used my debit card - what happens? The register freezes up and they say "We have to ring you up again because the charge didnt go thru" - I say, well the receipt looks like it completed - the manager comes over and the cashier explains the problem to him...he looks at the receipt and says "yes, ring her up again" -- I said this better not be a double charge on my card, manager assures me it wont - and I have him sign the receipt stating he charged me twice but it would only show up once - guess what? 3 days later, I get 2 of the same charges on my debit card from Kmart... (now...you would think my bank PNC would see that I have the EXACT same charge from the EXACT same location within 2 minutes of each other and just reimburse my money to me - right? WRONG! PNC would NOT refund the additional charge! So - 2 weeks later after calling corporate PNC - corporate Kmart - one of the managers finally refunded my $90! (Ill be going over to PNCs yellow page reviews shortly to post this story this too) How many times I have been at Kmart Harrison and you ask the manager where something on sale is - he doesnt know - so you go off to continue to search for it yourself. If it didnt take me 30 plus minutes to get to another discount type of store - I would never ever shop this Kmart again. But I am lazy - and sometimes I just dont feel like the long drive to another store - and there are times when I have to shop Kmart. When ever possible, I shop elsewhere - even if it is more expensive. And I hate that actually, I was raised at Kmart. We had family members who worked there when I was growing up. My mom and her sisters would all meet at Kmart on Saturdays... they loved to get the blue light specials...they would sit back at the cafeteria and chat, have a little lunch - and then shop again. (now this is back into the early 70s) and Kmarts would be packed back then. We didnt have Target and WalMart. So its sad to feel this way about Kmart...and the worst thing? The times I have called corporate to see if they could resolve a problem? Why .. I didnt even get a call back. So - know this going in - they dont care. Not the employees - not the managers and not corporate.

here in Harrison, we have Kmart and Biggs. Thats it. Any other larger dept store is at least a 15 to 20 min. drive. This Kmart, KNOWS the residents around here are stuck. Probably a fair estimate would say that 90% of the staff could care less if you are happy or not. Now the problem is they probably have a total of 3 employees on the floor at any given time. And chances are they are all standing together in the front of the store when you need them back by electronics or lay away. What a shame...I grew up on Kmart. This is one of the last few Kmarts left in Cincinnati. You would think they would want to keep this store open...not only corporate but the local people who have the luxury of having a job close to home. Also WATCH YOUR EXPIRATION DATES ON ANYTHING perishable. It is normal for most items to already be expired. And the pharmacy...forget it! Never a line but they still take 30 minutes to fill one prescription.

I never had a problem here, at all. Sadly it is the only place around, other than Roses downs the street next to Biggs, that offers year round layaway. I asked the people if they were going to close like the rest of the Kmarts and they said they werent on the list. Thank God. Harrison is an awesome place for bargain hunters like me. Kmart and Sears practically pay you to shop with their points program. Ive saved hundreds shopping there. Like I said, if youre a bargain hunter its great, but if youre just the slightest bit of a snob and look people to make mistakes, make your way down the street to Goodys for the higher end stuff. I myself shun high priced shopping.

Purchased a 55 inch EVA television from this store.. at that time I purchased a one year extended warranty.. my television went out.. a tech came to my house and decided it needed to be replaced.. I was told by them that RCA will contact me in 5 to 7 days.. no call.. then the Sears company tells me to give them 7 to 10 days.. still no call.. I called KMart corporate office.. now Im being told 3 weeks.. So not only did I spend my hard earned money on a piece of junk but when I tried to get them to honor the warranty.. which they had no problem taking my money for.. all Im getting is a run around.. no wonder they continue to close stores

I went to exchange a shirt my son received for Christmas from a family member, and they wouldnt exchange/give a store credit NOTHING! They said I needed the receipt or the credit card used to purchase. How am I suppose to have those things when it was a gift?! Definitely wont be shopping kmart. Not to mention how run down the store in Harrison Ohio is. The store is dark, and dirty.

When I was checking out, the person in front of me was wanting to use a credit or debit card. The cashier told the woman that not only was the rewards program down, but the credit/debit machine was also down. The management did not seemed concerned about it. I usually never have cash. Had I not had cash that day, I would not have been able to make my purchase.

I just tried returning my Northwest Territory sleeping bag. It says 100% money back guarantee on the bag. Well they turned me away, because I had no receipt. Also ever thing the sleep bag said it would do was a lie as well. Did not keep me warm, did not keep me dry, and was not machine washable. I recommend staying away from this product and Kmart all together.

Store is a mess reminds me of a Conway or Roses, staff is unprofessional. Have young workers that Can barely talk, my first and last time here. Seem really prejudice to. They want be getting anymore of my service, trashy ass disfunctional Kmart a d employees

I walked into the customer service counter to do something and immediately notice it I was being followed by the manager even though I had not entered any further and do store made me feel very uncomfortable and will not go back in there most likely
