I recently bought a car from here and I have to say that I was extremely satisfied with the service. Jared, the salesman who sold me my car, was very kind and friendly, making the process a lot smoother. This was my first time actually buying my car from a dealership and my previous car I got from one of my fathers friends and it didnt even last four months. The car that I bought from Car Source is a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo and they sold it to me for $4800. The original price was up in the $5000s but they worked with us we came to a medium with the negotiation. Mind you I had my father with me to help me out with buying my first actual car, but the service here was great either way. They showed me the carfax with no hassle and they were honest with the accident and damage report. The Aveo had been in two accidents before and did have some damage on the exterior. They were very honest in letting me know the things that were wrong with it and what they fixed themselves. They replaced my car battery and breaks and informed me of the exterior damage that was on the car. Still, the car doesnt look bad at all and I am very happy with it. All in all very good service and I have actually recommended this place to my partner and some of my friends as the go to place for their first car. Ok, so Im updating (not editing, because I really did have great service at first) my review, because after taking the car to the shop to get an oil change there were some very bad things that were brought to my attention. I originally asked Jared if there was anything majorly wrong with the car that required work. He said no and I was set on my way thinking that I was going to have a good, reliable car. Come to find out that my exhaust flex is completely broken and the left side of my engine cradle was broken and then repaired. Now, it was repaired, but whoever repaired it did it wrong and now I have to spend even more money to go and get that fixed as well as get my entire exhaust system replaced. I had asked Jared if there was anything wrong with the car, and he told me that they fixed whatever was wrong with it. It looks like they tried fixing the engine cradle, did it wrong, and sold me the car. Also, this was stuff that, if they truly inspected the car before selling me it, was noticeable. The engine cradles left side is crooked and is able to shift as I drive, affecting my steering. My exhaust flew is just completely broken and it shakes and rattles whenever I drive. The mechanic took me back to look at the damage and me, someone who knows nothing about cars, was able to look and point out exactly what was wrong with it. I am very unhappy with how this purchased turned out. I left that place happy with a new car and stress free, only to find out I need about $2,000 worth of work on a car. Thanks Car Source for lying to me and not being completely truthful. The engine was loud before, but they assured me that they couldnt find anything wrong with it and just said that the exhaust was loud. I believed them and now I have a paperweight that I can only drive to and from work carefully as to not snap the little bolt (mind you, the bolt is too small for the engine cradle to stay in place) and have my steering go completely out and my engine hit the ground. If I was buying a car from them I would most definitely take the car to the shop first and have them look over that baby before even thinking about buying it. This was damage that had they actually inspected it like theyre supposed to they would have told me about right off the bat. Theyre known for screwing people over, and for good reason. Jared told me to give a very detailed review of my experience, and I always deliver, even after a month.

Terrible. Awful and terrible. For one, my temporary tags expired before I got my title. For two, most of the employees I spoke to were relatively rude and had absolutely NO sense of urgency. My major problem with them though, is that my check engine light came on immediately after I left the lot; it was the oxygen sensor. A typical reason for a check engine light to come on. Anyway, I called and asked them if it was possible for me to bring the car back in and have it fixed, considering the light came on right after I left the lot, leading me to believe that the issue existed before I even purchased the car, and they said NO! The warranty I payed for doesnt cover it. So, I talked to my uncle, who is a mechanic, and he said that they must have just erased the check engine light reading, and that since it came on right after purchase, they should fix it. So, the representative that I worked with said he would talk to his general manager and see about getting it fixed at no charge; NEVER CALLED ME BACK. So, when I had to call and ask where my title was, I brought up my check engine light, told him that it was still on and asked if hed talked to his manager. He mumbled under his breath " I thought we agreed your uncle was going to fix it? " No, that was never the agreement. ON TOP OF THAT, none of my fluids were topped off, I was two quarts low on oil, and the oil was pitch black. They told me they wouldnt do an oil change either; they dont do oil changes. They are a bunch of crooks and liars and I will NEVER recommend them to anone looking for a car, and I will make sure to let anyone I know looking for a car to steer clear of them completely.

Im writing this review about 6 months after purchasing my vehicle from here. I traded in my Jeep Wrangler because I needed to not have a monthly payment anymore. They had an older (2001) Civic available. They let me drive the car to an auto body shop to get it inspected before I bought it. I could tell this wasnt the place that is doing thorough inspections. There were quite a few things wrong with the car, so I asked the salesman (Chuck I think?) for some additional money to cover them. He didnt even give it a second thought and said, "absolutely". The process went smoothly, and didnt take long at all. I will note the car was filthy, they didnt clean it at all, but whatever, the place is super cheap compared to others. Thats the point of this dealership, to get you a good deal. If you go in there expecting them to have some nice waiting area with cappuccino or something youve gone to the wrong place. If you go there to get a decent car for cheap and avoid stuck up and pushy salesman, then youve gone to the right place.

Stopped in at the Grove City location on Thursday about a car they had coming in. They told me it would be there Friday or Monday and that they would call me when it came into the location. I called Friday to see if it was there. After talking to the sales rep they where not sure if the car had made it to the location but insured me that they would call me back after checkin. No one called me back. I called again Saturday. The same thing happened. I called again on Monday and guess what they told the car had not come in yet and they promised to call me back with a response. No call back. Again I called on Tuesday. They man I spoke to was very nice and told me would actually call me back this time. He did... the car was sold. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE... Not even someone I didnt like. I manage a team of 1000 employees and if one of my employees treated a customer like this I would absolutely have to get rid of them.
